You must have read my mind, Melissa! I was just thinking about this very topic! Thank you so much for posting this video. It really helped me decide! :-)
At 4:00 you hammer the texture into the metal. I have a flat disc of silver am doing this as well however it is doming/deforming. It is extremely important that it doesnt dome. What can i do to avoid doming? Its 19 gauge and i cant use any thicker.
ironic, NOT following your own advise?? (at 5:52 you use the spring version, but it is bent @ approx 90 deg., NOT the 30deg. limit you say earlier on in the video).
Great demo! Please share how to alter the setting tips as in the 60 % radius alteration you used when setting the stone. Also which tip are you using to burnish out the edges of the flared rivets? Thank you so much!
When did the H.15 add an oiling hole near the front? I read in my 'S' Manual that it needed to be taken apart every 100 hours or so and lubricated. I don't think mine is a fake, I bought it from a retired craftsman, he said it's 25-30 years old. He also said it might be a earlier hammer handpiece. Showed a pic with a #14 handpiece which looks very similar.
Hello, Can you take a picture and send it to Mike Z here at Foredom? mzagielski@blackstoneind.com He is the expert and can help you identify. Thank you!
Hiya, we can see at 5:56 what you mean about not bending beyond the recommended angle, here you must have it bent to 90 deg, well beyond the recommended angle. Will they give you a new one when you break this one? Stay safe, Steve...
Foredoom does have a graver kit (I just got one from contenti) it’s a flex shaft motor with a specialized hand piece similar to the hammer hand pieces Melissa showed, but it uses a collet to accept various sized gravers and tools.
I have ordered the pave point and polished it (using green rogue, as per your other video) yet I am not getting the texture that you are getting. It's not as deep and not polished as yours is. Could you explain what I could be doing wrong?
I bought the Foredom H.15 hammer. Now, I’m having a LOT of trouble trying to find a flex shaft that it’s compatible with. Is this only compatible with other Foredom flex shafts? I realllly need this tool! Help!! I went to Harbor Freight and to Lowe’s and they both told me that they didn’t have anything compatible with it.

I just got a MM hammer handpiece so I needed to see this. Many thanks.

I noticed that too! I don't see how its realistic to not work with a 90deg at least some of the time

Do you know if you can use the foredom tx model with the hammer piece??
Melissa, have you tried the hammer on stone? I'm looking for a tool that will give a hammered or 'pecked' finish on stone. David
Can i decorated name with this
I just got the H.15D and the multi point set (AK101). Reviews for the handpiece ask for instruction on Rio Grande.

HI. Sorry you are having trouble. The H.15 is compatible with standard key tip shafting with industrial grade flex shafts.
When I press the handpiece it stops kicking is this broken or normal ?
