Hey everyone, i unsurprisingly forgot a few sources of certain status effects so I wanted to leave them here. Lifted can also be triggered by Naramon's Lethal Levitation, Bonewidow's Firing Line and Sevagoth's Shadow's Embrace. Disarmed can be triggered by Repo Audit on Hounds and Zenurik's Disarming Sling. Petrify can be accessed with the Path of Statues augement for Landslide, and a small area around Atlas is petrified when he casts Rumblers. Let me know if i missed any more and I'll do my best to keep this updated. Thanks!
The funniest thing about Malicious Code is they have a working cower animation in the game for liches that become afraid due to a quirk, like fear of space. But for whatever reason they don't just give that animation to those enemies lol.
Sometimes when a fear triggers their PTSD they panic with randomized movement, flee in a direction or rarely just leave a confrontation altogether. If you over use a fear against them they'll frenzy and attack you. the downside is if you have a friendly lich, they'll sometimes keep these fears when they show up to help you such as fear of children (Tenno) or space missions and panic too.
@@quantumblur_3145 There are quirks that purely effect dialogue and there are some that can actually influence behavior. Like there’s one that causes their pathfinding to completely disregard stairs and catwalks because they’re “prone to vertigo”.

6:33 Bonewidow’s 3rd ability, Firing Line, also causes Lifted. Easily its least useful ability, but I still thought it was worth mentioning. 9:08 Zenurik’s Disarming Sling is also supposed to disarm enemies as well, but I’m not even sure it works. I’ve tried dashing into enemies a few times and it feels like it doesn’t do anything.
11:49 About making enemies stronger. This is back when tower keys were a thing so it probably doesn't work now. But a team of Nyx, Trinity, Loki, and Frost could basically infinitely sit in a survival mission after a certain damage threshold was hit. You needed a large circular room and frost would park under the stairs with a bubble and Trinity would do trinity things and keep everyone healed and energized. Loki was on collection and life support duty. Nyx would be max duration max range and would use chaos for the confusion effect. Additionally if the Nyx was good they could jump or move into a position where they could mind control whatever bombard showed up. This was doubly good if they were running Mind Freak. The thing is, at level 180 or so enemies started scaling damage way more than armor so it was most efficient to just make them kill each other. And because it was exploiting enemy scaling this method would never fall off. I did this to farm lots of prime stuff and we left after like 3 or 4 hours because we were bored. It's important to note that you NEEDED the Nyx. Yes loki could radiation proc in a wide area to get them to attack each other however, due to the disarm, the enemies wouldn't do enough damage to each other.
I'd be glad to see a part 2 Also like others have said, I feel like I've been sleeping on Silence, I want to try it out during archon hunts, specifically when sentients all pile up and like to disco dance my teammates to death
This video completely changed my view on Silence. I used to just mod for really low duration (I know, not the smartest idea) so that I can more frequently proc that headace effect they have after using it.
Didn't expect Impair or Conclave to be on here, but it's neat that it is! To add a bit more info for it, Impair can also be triggered from certain melee combos on Conclave exclusive melee stances, like the Fateful Truth stance on Nikanas, or the Rising Steel stance on Swords.
This is a small aside. Halikar probably works over ability disarms because Overguard gives them arbitrary ability resistances, on top of the general CC immunity. It's probably in a separate bucket of enemy character's effects than status effects, and probably has to be because disarming changes their AI.
Gotta love how our Calibans look exactly the same yet I never saw this video before, I guess we can all agree that Narmer Caliban is the coolest thing ever.
As a theory crafting enjoyer, I very much appreciate your commitment into diving into the game’s zombie codes. Thank you. Also you are one of the very few WF content creators with actually nice fashion
One thing to note is that conservation targets are for some reason highly resistant to sleep abilities other than the Tranq rifle and will generally be asleep only for a fraction of the time that a regular enemy would be knocked out.
i genuinely can't believe how invested i was in this and staying till the end. Editing was so on point and i DIED from laughter with the corpus boi being disarmed.
other funny fact about ivara’s sleep arrow: even if you sleep fully alerted enemies, melee finishers on then will still give stealth affinity bonuses, but normal melee instakills (such as heavy attacks) won’t count unless the enemies were completely unalerted
As an Equinox main i just wanted to say your Equinox is beautiful, love the colors and the syandana, simple and clean. Finally someone that actually knows how complimentary colors and accessorys work in a game thats touted to have fashion as its endgame
Thanks! The scheme is actually based on concept art of the deluxe. I really liked how they used the red and green to separate the two forms and decided to try incorporating that idea.
If you activate friendly fire in the simulacrum and exit from excalibur umbra, he will be able to blind you but your screen will become dark. I tried it a long time ago, I don't know if it still works like that. With Unairu's old passive (2.0) to reflect damage, the aero set always worked after landing from a glide.
10:54 Like Titania's Entangle, Baruuk's Lull(his 2) could also only slow the enemies down, and not their firerate, the slow *is* mentioned further into the video(14:38), just though I'd add it here. 11:22 And Baruuk while his Desert Wind is out, the Eximus being a melee unit and while close to Baruuk as well, the slow is not that effective and the requirement is kind of specific, but it's there. At the end there was 9 vitrified and words with vitrified as the root, I took a sip of water with each one, it was good hydration.
In my nomenclature, vitrify, petrify and freeze are STUNS. Roots are a status that prevents movement but not other actions, while stuns remove any possible action from the target.
I wasn't entirely sure if root was the best term to be honest, but because stun is its own effect I strayed away from using it. I thought about using "paralyzed" as well, but ultimately decided not to, though in hindsight it may have been better.
There is this funny interaction between lifted and the opticor (Caliban's at least, I think I couldn't replicate it with other means to get an enemy lifted) that if the enemy is killed by the opticor while lifted, its corpse will just fly up like if gravity was upside down.
I know freeze is a nishe status effect but it's absolutely amazing in high level missions like Arcon hunts. It stops everything in sight and let you go monke with damage. Frost is awesome ❤ just rework him a little. He's way too old and some augments could be part of his abilities :/
After they gave his 4 armor strip, I don't think he needs a rework at all. He's currently my #1 favorite frame to play as, so maybe I'm biased, but he slaps steel path silly. I don't use Ice Wave either, I go straight to Avalanche spam. Use dispensary (replace ice wave) with equilibrium and either combat discipline or synth fiber for infinite energy. Mod for efficiency, range, and at least 50% armor strip (and natural talent or shards for cast speed). Use Fluctus for the 50m punch through and point it at the numbers when you use your 4. Zenith works too, but it's not AoE so it can't keep up. It gets really silly. And when I say infinite energy, I mean you can literally use your 4 back to back to back until your fingers get tired.
@@TeHPHoBoS999 I don't mean a complete rework, just a little tweaking. - Give him a real passive - Make snow globe destructible by holding - New ability instead of Freeze (Pablo said it "Single target abilities don't have much of a place in Warframe anymore", and freeze is basically useless because Avalanche exist) Maybe long range, instant freeze AoE that gives Frost a small, personal protection (similar to Rhino - more survivability, less dependence on snowglobe) - Combine Ice wave with it's augment Frost was made for much older game and while completely viable at basically everything. His abilities and stats really show it. He's still an amazing frame tho
@@sirith9157 ahhh, I understand what you mean, and yeah that's true. A new passive would be really nice. I do prefer being able to target a specific bubble to destroy it, but they could easily combine Freeze and Ice Wave into a single ability where the ice wave forms as an aoe around the projectile and/or spreads from the impact of Freeze. But you're right, even just doing a qol update would make it so that either ice wave or freeze need to be replaced with a completely new ability, so he'd need some kind of rework.
18:25 I interpreted the health threshold for freeze as you breaking the ice off of them with your gunfire, eventually causing the ice encasing them to shatter.
Speed Nova is the only frame that can genuinely speed up a defence like hydron other than instantly murdering enemies the moment they spawn with Mirage's augment. I'm still waiting for Chromulus, who can speed up the timer on Survival missions 😐😐😐

Hello Mr. BoyKisser369 I should have probably made this comment before, but I kinda forgor up until now, so fuck it here we go I genuinely want more content like this. The thing that keeps me coming back to your channel the most are the videos about odd aspects of the game, and while Weird and Obscure is great and all, I genuinely want to see more videos dedicated to one single obscure topic, such as this one, Warframe Geographic, or the Sobek video to a lesser extent. You have tried a lot of things over time, including the dreaded build videos (with somewhat of a twist I'll be fair), but this could genuinely be your niche. Now, unfortunately, I'm mostly a nerd for things related to builds, so I really don't have many ideas for any sort of video like this one, but I think if you dig through the wiki enough you can probably find a somewhat weird topic you can dedicate an entire video to. The closest thing I got to a suggestion is a video about weird mod scaling (such as all of the weird ways the Zymos' seeker projectiles scale with mods), but yeah, not exactly very inspired innit? Genuinely excited for future content! (even if it takes 50 years to make)
Something i found super interesting while researching ways to open enemies to finishers for the Innodem was that dagger heavy attacks, Caustacyst projectiles, shield throws and i think one other thing i forgot will also stun/stagger/whatever it is that opens enemies to finishers. not a day goes by where i don't hold the Warframe wiki as the golden standard of game knowledge after trying to research niche things like that in any other game. another comment i had is that sleep abilities interact strangely with the velocipods in the Cambion Drift, where last i actually had to go there, you ride them while they're asleep unless they're shot with the tranq dart.
Additional note - when excalibur has his exhaltef blade active, slide attack will add a rsdial blind (costs abojt 25 energy i think) that also blinds enemies in a smaller radius. It doesn't open enemies to finishers like the other radial blind /howls.
Dude. Naramon lifts ennemies too ! My question would be, if I stick extra status duration on all my weapons, will that mod only apply to the status caused by the weapon, or all status? Because... Idk, I have a thing for peaceful gameplay, ennemies, floating around gracefully...
Fun and useful video Although I got distracted with your fashionframes sometimes lol One status I had no idea about was that Limbo's stasis has a limit on how many projectiles it can interrupt
Man, i'm nearing 1000 hours played in Warframe and i still feel like i barely scratch the surface about what's actually going on in this game. Awesome and well put together video that taught me a lot, yet still won't make me a better player in any way whatsoever. Now time to watch your other one about the damaging status types and figure out just how little i actually know!
I'm surprised you didn't mention the shlungle status effect. Most of the meta loadouts nowadays are built around utilizing it so idk why you didn't cover it
I remember the good old days when the sonicor could ragdoll enemies into space and their corpses would come back down a few seconds later in pieces. That was back in the day when Draco was the best spot for affinity farming.
A fun and interesting detail regarding Petrify that I noticed while farming Holokeys the other day is that if you have Metamorphic Magazine on an equipped Gorgon, your railjack turret while driving inherits the ability to petrify ships; I noticed it when I petrified a Corpus Crewship trying to disable it for the kill. It probably doesn't have a use but it got a laugh out of me!
You're also forgetting sevagoths embrace applies lifted, which is relevant to using condition overload on his claws, meaning it's technically a damage buff, only embrace and sentients wraith do it
A fun little tidbit regarding Dizzying Rounds. It doesn't stun eximus units through overguard but it does still open them up to a finisher. It makes for a very quick and easy way to kill an eximus unit.
I absolutely love, how Warframe has a million convoluted little mechanics, though it has no business at all to be like that. Praise the spaghetti code, insane Canadians, and almost 11 years of constant changes, due to which game is unrecognizable from what it was back then. Well, at least as much as the game about space ninjas can became unrecognizable in a good sense. And those little (and so little) complexities are absolutely optional to know to enjoy the game. The most insane thing - it works. Most of the time, at least.
ngl this makes me want to try this game again. I quit bc the intro was ass, and apparently theres a good one now. this game seems like league of legends, the only game i really play anymore, in that theres a boatload of zany "status effects," and theyre basically all just special cased in with love and care.
If you enjoy stuff like build crafting, wide variety of options and always having some next summit to climb, you'll enjoy Warframe. But if things like farming resources/items and waiting for stuff to craft is a turn off for you, you may want to stay away. Still, the game is free to try, so if you have some hours to kill there isn't much risk.
Oberon's Renewal, and Hallowed Reckoning triggers the blind effect as well. He also interferes in all buffs enemies give each other. Unlike Banshee, he shuts off the other class of effects in addition to ones she does.
12:52 fun fact, breach kind of trades off the fact that you can’t finish blindedenemies using it, but instead enemies with Overgaard can be blinded by breach surge
One thing I've noticed is that running relics with speed nova will cause more enemies to turn corrupted faster and therefore, she's kinda the only frame to actually increase reactant acquisition.
Both the direct hit and explosion from zakti's darts deal forced impact procs, opening enemies to finishers.
I heard that Phendrana Drifts AND I CLAPPED
wait... is your Frost rocking Gravity Suit colors!? 🤩
Frost isn't quite gravity suit, but I definitely took inspiration lol
Additional note - when excalibur has his exhaltef blade active, slide attack will add a rsdial blind (costs abojt 25 energy i think) that also blinds enemies in a smaller radius.
It doesn't open enemies to finishers like the other radial blind /howls.
im liking and subscribing because i love seeing you suffer for the sequel
Dude. Naramon lifts ennemies too ! My question would be, if I stick extra status duration on all my weapons, will that mod only apply to the status caused by the weapon, or all status?
Because... Idk, I have a thing for peaceful gameplay, ennemies, floating around gracefully...
Only from the weapons
I love you more than my dad coolkid. Because unlike my dad you actually came back ❤️
This will be helpful to me. Thank you
Fun and useful video
Although I got distracted with your fashionframes sometimes lol
One status I had no idea about was that Limbo's stasis has a limit on how many projectiles it can interrupt
Thanks coolkid very cool. Keep up the good work
18:00 Don't think I didn't notice you putting the Phendrana Drifts theme over the Frozen section, you clever bastard
ok, you may have to confirm that it still works this way but freeze may pause the duration of status on enemies.
no
Man, i'm nearing 1000 hours played in Warframe and i still feel like i barely scratch the surface about what's actually going on in this game. Awesome and well put together video that taught me a lot, yet still won't make me a better player in any way whatsoever. Now time to watch your other one about the damaging status types and figure out just how little i actually know!
Seriously im not seeing any foreshadowing in the rift, limbo needs better visual effects for clarity overall
17:31 another source of sleep is me loading up Warframe and there's a new update download I gotta sit through
just loading up WF is enough for me, guess im lacking Adaptation or smth
"im back with the milk" is crazy 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I'm surprised you didn't mention the shlungle status effect. Most of the meta loadouts nowadays are built around utilizing it so idk why you didn't cover it
4:02 dragon engine at its finest
I'm pretty sure Zymos also causes enemies' heads to grow like microwave on headshots. Probably doesn't affect CO though.
I think thats just the bomb like projectiles zymos has
One of the Acolytes, I think it's Mania or Angst, can also inflict lifted (or ragdoll or whatever) on the player. Found that out the hard way
after playing destiny for a while i was incredibly confused hearing stasis then i remembered limbo
Huh, TIL most enemy abilities have a Verbal component and can't be cast under Silence.
Me an Atlas main:
Ohhh wat iz zis hmmmm? "Knockdown" rol to get up?
This was incredibly educational for a new player like me. I desperately want Banshee now cause Silence sounds incredible.
I actually did learn quite a bit. Especially the fact that certain non-element status effects benefit status overload weapons
I remember the good old days when the sonicor could ragdoll enemies into space and their corpses would come back down a few seconds later in pieces.
That was back in the day when Draco was the best spot for affinity farming.
I believe Breach Surge can still blind through overhealth.
Breach Surge seems to effect enemies with overguard though.
Yeah that's what I thought too
enemies obviously break out of freeze at threshold because the heat from the gunfire and/or the friction from the melee strikes thaws them
A fun and interesting detail regarding Petrify that I noticed while farming Holokeys the other day is that if you have Metamorphic Magazine on an equipped Gorgon, your railjack turret while driving inherits the ability to petrify ships; I noticed it when I petrified a Corpus Crewship trying to disable it for the kill. It probably doesn't have a use but it got a laugh out of me!
Did not expect today to start nine shots deep, but hey, I'm not about to disobey the vitrification rules
You're also forgetting sevagoths embrace applies lifted, which is relevant to using condition overload on his claws, meaning it's technically a damage buff, only embrace and sentients wraith do it
Sevagoth is highly forgettable.
as a Sevagoth main
yeah thats fair
@@TheFIRELORD15 I actually like him, but I genuinely keep forgetting him. It's like it is his passive or something.
@@CoolKid369 you ever try vindictus
@@pinnacleexpress420Never heard of it, what's that?
4:30 i seriously miss the sonicor space program. was so fun to use even if pretty ineffective
Oberon's Renewal, and Hallowed Reckoning triggers the blind effect as well.
He also interferes in all buffs enemies give each other. Unlike Banshee, he shuts off the other class of effects in addition to ones she does.
Hounds also have a disarm with repo audit
I probably missed one, but you said "Vitrify" at least 10 times. Honestly, 10 shots doesn't seem like the worst thing ever.
I meant shots from a low caliber handgun
12:52 fun fact, breach kind of trades off the fact that you can’t finish blindedenemies using it, but instead enemies with Overgaard can be blinded by breach surge
Grendel's Slow proc from Regurgitate AoE works on Overguard btw, making it the only ability that can somehow CC overguard without using Cold procs
Breach surge iirc
Calamity OST? Nice. A Tenno of culture.
One thing I've noticed is that running relics with speed nova will cause more enemies to turn corrupted faster and therefore, she's kinda the only frame to actually increase reactant acquisition. I notice a lot of people think Khora, Necros, and hydroid do this, but as far as I can tell, it's only Nova.
