And who exactly are these men that you are referring to with such epithets and labelling with the ‘N’ word?
Toke is free to have all of these relationships; however, it is important to note the hazards of this perpetual party girl life. What she has actively done here is splinter all of the responsibilities, obligations and benefits of a husband into the bodies and lives of about 5 different men.
A decent, sensible and worthy husband is a financial and emotional support. He serves as a protector and provider; he is also a social, sexual and formal companion.
Having 5 or more different men play all those roles in a formula for disaster and disease!
It is your prerogative to live your life in whatever way however, this choice has a shelf life and it is a very short one.
All these men will move on, many of your bourgeois friends will get married and move on. You do not want to be the lonely 45-year old single woman looking for a younger non-committal man who will be her date to the movies!
For the younger ladies who are watching this please note that this is not the optimal approach to feminine life or womanhood. Regardless of the glamour, glitz and gloss Toke might put on it, such as calling it the ‘soft life,’ this is actually the lonely, laborious and unfulfilling life.
I am not a proponent of ‘marriage at any cost.’ If either a man or woman is happy being single that is a laudable expression of their freedom. However, let us not act like it is the preferred alternative by reveling in this life of multiple, indiscriminate and incessant dating with no clear objectives.
It is indecent when men do it and it is similarly offensive and destructive when women adopt it as a lifestyle. Be wise
