- How to make leaf skeletons at home step by step? Without any chemicals, Ficus Religiosa leaves skeleton
Hello friends, I'm Bhushan. Welcome to My Crafts and Arts.
This leaf 🍃 skeleton is very easy to make and it looks so beautiful. I hope you will like it 😃
Stay home and do something creative in your free time!
You will need
- Peepal leaves
- Water 💦
- A small bucket
- A brush
Procedure :
1 : Collect some matured Peepal leaves. ( Ficus Religiosa leaves)
2 : Place the leaves in a small bucket and add some water to cover the leaves.
3 : Change the water every day if it's possible! 😀 😅
4 : After fifteen days, it will be ready for the next process.
5 : After that rinse out the leaves with water and also rub it gently with your fingers 👐.
6 : You can use a brush to remove the remaining tissue from the leaves.
7 : Then dry out the skeleton leaves in the sun for few minutes.

If you want to make early, you can boil those leaves in the water. But I'm not sure about smell of boiling those leaves! 🤭

Did you put only hot water?
No use only normal water, but if you want, you can put hot or boiled water, even you can boil leaves and keep them for few days. Or some people add some chemical components, it works in one day
But overall I tried to make it naturally and it took 15 days.

I tried with mango leaves but it didn't work! I think it will take many days, around one month. Or you can try to boil the leaves in the water and try

No, if leaf has so many veins in it, you can try. Otherwise it will not work

Yes, you can use washing soda and boil it

I tried this craft but when I took out from water after 15 days it broke, it became very delicate
Yes, it happens, you should choose thick mature leaves( dark green color) , so it will stay strong after 15 days, and while changing water, you should be careful with leaves
Don't choose thin and delicate leaves (light green color)

If leaf has many veins in it,so leaf can hold skeleton,
You can those leaf which has many veins. but Time will be different for different leaves. You can try mangolia tree leaves. For me,Peepal leaves work very well!

On the 3rd day some leaves become transparent by some side should I continue the process or change those leaves?
