I started playing less than 2 months ago. It seems now I have to learn everything from scratch.
do not use 457 for the base!! you will get random freezes for 3 seconds, mid race.
There's a 40 page thread about this issue in the Fanatec forum. I can't understand people suggesting to update...
The new physics are SO GOOD, I have an Omega profile sim rig and Fanatec DD+, this is what I've wanted from GT7 for years, finally I can catch sliding intuitively before it snaps as now I can feel the weight transfer of the car, I can feel the grip at EACH WHEEL. And the dirt physics are so damn good now, it's like playing Colin Mcrae Rally only more VISCEREL. The FFB is more detailed with much more subtle queues now rather than the onenote FFB of previous GT7, rewarding people with high power wheels that can turn up the FFB and feel the detail, time to buy Fanatec DD+ guys, you will not regret it, anyone complaining on controller or G29 , time to upgrade, 8nm direct drive is the minimum to appreciate this update, and you will have to set FFB to 80-100%. For DD+ My FFB settings are: FFB:50 (100 for CSL DD)(GT7 set to 8) FUL:50 NDP:50 NFR:15, NIN:10, INT:OFF, FEI: 100, FOR:100, SPR:OFF, DPR:100

The new track was in GT around 15 years ago. They shortened it.

DD pro still a mess and no updates
PD ruined GR4, idiots, physics stink. What a colossal failure, completely ruined sport mode for single player 6 cars and a useless track. Unbelievable!
