    A smattering of random tips:
    1. The wasps in the last session blew up your mustangs because those were fortified wasps in point-blank range. Usually 'stangs decimate wasps, which is why it is usually a bad idea to over-invest in wasps. Regardless, if a flank is not working out, you should often just reinforce it or refund/move the units, otherwise it feeds your enemy XP. Sometimes delaying enemy units is a winning tactic, but not yet in your MMR range.
    2. Rhino things - When flanking with a Rhino, leave some empty space in front of him for the subsequent round. Then, before the next round begins, pre-emptively put chaff in front that will tank something like Steel Balls that the enemy will respond to your Rhino with. The chaff will also tank the tech disabling shots from marksmen that you saw in this game.
    3. Steel Ball things - The tech for Steel Balls that makes them produce crawlers on death is pretty good. It is named "Mechanical Division". Steel Balls usually kill Rhinos, but the whirlwind tech usually kills Balls. With the mechanical division, they can be part of the semi-chaff front line, along with something like Mass-Produced Sledgehammers and Fire Badgers: relatively cheap and hard to counter. Except with Hackers. Steel Balls are perhaps the most vulnerable unit to Hackers.
    4. For late game, super-late arriving Fangs are sometimes a godsend. You should also slot in Fangs' range tech, they often need that to be effective. They also benefit from Mechanical Rage.
    5. Right now, Fire Badgers seem to better than Vulcans, barring some specific scenarios and techs. Vulcans can get some oil bomb+fire bomb tech that light the whole map on fire. Fire for these units and for the Stormcallers is a great chaff counter.
    7. Scorpions can be incredibly powerful. Fully teched late-game scorpions are powerful also.
    8. The anti-missile techs also target overlord and other missiles (like Vulcan bombs). Sabretooth and War Factory anti-missiles are the most effective as they do not conflict with the main weapon use. The stationary anti-missile turrets are also useful in a pinch.
    ~Many thanks!

Bonus tip : shield airdrop can be put on the flanks (unless theyve changed it 😅)

It's robots innit! Thanks for the vids. You can tell who you are facing in the 2v2 by whose portrait is larger as well as the name you see under the health bar.

I just watched a recent Mechabellum vid on another channel. Supposedly it was a match between two top five players that the presenter had recorded as an observer. A few thoughts - it was cool seeing a close match that went several rounds farther than we often see here. They both had some huge armies in the last round with a lot of big robots. Also, Indrid would be great as the commenter for these types of matches. We already know how good he is at presenting the DoW matches.

Never heard about this game, no ads no articles ... but it looks pretty fun. And great casting as always, I don't watch all your videos but used to watch your DoW2 a lot

I’m loving seeing you play this game. One funny thing I have noticed a couple of times is that when you take the marksman specialist at the start of a match you don’t add more marksman. At least two matches you’ve only had the one marksman you started with. Also, I don’t think you’ve lost a match where you have developed superior air power.

In later rounds it's good to take a loan and get extra range for 100 credits. 15 range for all units is rly strong

Looking forward when you start to predict opponent. Crawlers storm bringers and then rhino pick. Souds like air weakness. Easiest counterplay is just looking at round start choices and planing based on what opponent néeds

By the way indrid, since you've been playing this game for a bit now. Have you ever tried the Direct Strike mod for starcraft 2? I'm pretty sure that this game is heavily inspired by DS so it might be interesting to check that out as well.
I'm pretty sure you can play the starcraft 2 arcade for free?

I see you often expecting fangs to tank AND kill phoenixes. Theid need to be alive for that
Ps and it seems to work??

Stop relying on Rhinos... and fangs. Get more super units! Melting point with range upgrade, etc.
