DIY disc golf cart

- I didn't want to spend $200+ on a Zuca, Ridge Roller, Gotta Go Gotta Throw, or Delta disc golf cart. I'd rather have the cash to upgrade or replace my discs. So I did a quick conversion of a ball golf push cart. I've got roughly $20 in the entire project.
Just found one of these for $15. Appreciate the video!
Thanks for the awesome vid. I made a cart with the help of your vid. On Amazon I bought the Jef World caddy cart. Home depot bought a aluminum bar. I put a screw on top of the plastic piece (where cart folds), to hold my bag loop- so It can set higher, now I can put a small ice chest on the bottom bracket (I think you removed yours). Also at HDstore, got some heavy duty clamps to help keep bag stabilized, clamping the arm straps to the cross bar. Thanks again. Love my cart!
Hey @dabig77 do you mind sending me a picture of your cart? Looking for inspiration for mine. Thanks.

Finally the video I needed to see
found 2 of these exact carts new at a rummage sale 5$ each
Perfect.
I’m trying to find the exact model of JEF world. Is it called a “deluxe steel golf cart”
Hey, I am making one similar based off your video. I saw in another comment that you would have made the back the dimensions of the bag. What material would you recommend using? Mine fits pretty loose right now and falls if I turn at all but I'm sure having any kind of back support would help. All the best
I used a 1/8th piece of steel the width of my bag. I placed it low enough that I could loops the straps on it and tighten them to keep the bag from moving much. Hope this helps.
@@justindombrosky2804 How has the simple cross bar held up over time? I was thinking about a wire rack but I'm not sure if that'll just be overkill.
It's held up just fine.
@@justindombrosky2804 Awesome. Thank you man! Have a great day
@@ForeDiscGolf I use some heavy duty clamps to clamp the straps to the bar for extra support
How long is the crossbar
Emand33 Plays I don't recall how long this crossbar was. I cut it to the width of my bag for support all the way across. If I were to do it again, it would be to the measurement of whatever bag I planned on using.
