this was the hardest podcast to watch. she just get interrupting dave and josh and it’s so annoyingggggggggggggg
She’s one of those people that don’t listen when others are talking, she is just waiting for her turn to talk.
And on her podcast, all she does is psychoanalyze everything people say. Like a guest was talking about not liking to make a lot of eye contact and she said that’s bc they didn’t have enough eye contact during breast feeding when they were a baby.
Which might be true, but after every sentence a guest says, she has to tell them why they do that and it’s exhausting. They’ll say they enjoy swimming and she will tell you about how studies show you only like to swim bc of your connection to your pet goldfish you had 40 years ago… sometimes you just enjoy a swim for no reason dude.
She gives interesting information sometimes but when you can’t get two words out without her analyzing it, it gets less interesting real quick.

You guys got the David/Jeff story wrong.
David initially stopped vlogging because of covid. When he wanted to return around June, they planned this whole trip to Utah where they would carry out outdoor activities and stunts. In one of these stunts, David is driving an excavator while Jeff holds a rope attached to the beam but what happened is David started swinging too fast and stopped too abruptly which caused Jeff to crash against the excavator arm and fracture himself completely. David and his friends took him to ER asap. They were there the whole time during his stay at the hospital to support him. What Jeff says in the documentary is that David sort of ghosted him for about a month AFTER it happened and didn’t reach out to check up on him even though he was paying for all the bills. He says he started to resent him because he was seeing all the succees he was having but one day they agreed that David and a couple of other close friends would accompany him to Utah for a surgery that he was going to have so they could be there to basically work things out and support him. On the last episode (so far) they sit down and talk it out and they seem to be on good terms (don’t know if they are still friends like they used to be but they seem to be on talking terms now). I don’t think the purpose of the documentary was to paint David as a good or bad person but mostly to tell his story since a lot of people have been asking him about it for a very long time. Apparently a family that was there at the time of the accident was blackmailing him with footage they recorded so he had to release the documentary now.

ik i love this podcast so so so much but them being so ignorant pissed me off so much. it's like david prides himself in caring for others and then he literally almost murders jeff and doesn't even show up or check in on him. it's not jack ass it's not paid actors it's real life. it's real people with real emotions who didn't sign up for life altering injuries. and if they weren't so ignorant as to speak on it without watching or knowing all about it I wouldn't be writing this comment. anyone who really watched the documentary found that david is a small part of the documentary and never does jeff even really shit on him. it's more of a personal struggle doc and how to overcome things that seem as if they may never get better. also, why wouldn't jeff profit off of this? it's like you say u want the clout then u do the stunts and deal with the consequences right? so he's getting his clout and dealing with the consequences while also improving people's lives. like stop being ignorant fucks. this really pisses me off.

ik i love this podcast so so so much but them being so ignorant pissed me off so much. it's like david prides himself in caring for others and then he literally almost murders jeff and doesn't even show up or check in on him. it's not jack ass it's not paid actors it's real life. it's real people with real emotions who didn't sign up for life altering injuries. and if they weren't so ignorant as to speak on it without watching or knowing all about it I wouldn't be writing this comment. anyone who really watched the documentary found that david is a small part of the documentary and never does jeff even really shit on him. it's more of a personal struggle doc and how to overcome things that seem as if they may never get better. also, why wouldn't jeff profit off of this? it's like you say u want the clout then u do the stunts and deal with the consequences right? so he's getting his clout and dealing with the consequences while also improving people's lives. like stop being ignorant fucks. this really pisses me off.
