If Josh Peck speaks negatively about you you must be a huge pos. I don't think I ever heard Josh speak negatively on anyone. I will say this he was still mature in the way he talked about Drake. Didn't call him names. Didn't flip out. Curse. Scream. Nothing. Just said what it was and spoke his peace. More mature then Drake has ever handle a public situation. Another reason to love Josh Peck. You are one in a million dude!!
What I think made Josh look different than a lot of the goofy nerdy punching bag characters in sitcoms (like Steve Urkel) is that we saw Josh on the show become more confident and cool.
By the last season there's even an episode of how Josh is the confident self sufficient brother and Drake needs him. So it had helped his public image to be taken more seriously imo.
His character is one of the few cases in a sitcom of doing the opposite of flanderization. He's more toned down and mature by the end. While Drake's character becomes weirder and goofier at the end bc he started off as "cool".
It's kind of interesting how the writers used Josh's real life physical and personality changes for his character on the show. His character even gets into working out, to address the significant weight loss.

All this stuff about Drake is fake. Everybody knows they reunited multiple times, worked to bring a reboot, & how Drake told everybody to leave Josh alone about the wedding drama. That “apologize to my wife” thing sounds like complete bullshit. Drake didnt even attack or tell anybody to attack her, so whats he apologizing for? Josh just lying & making stuff up to distance himself.
This is undoubtedly my all-time FAVORITE episode of BFF's. S-Tier, if you will.

maybe im crazy for looking into this so much, but josh mentions that the vmas was the last time they spoke. now he wasn't clear if it was in 2017 (the year the wedding drama happened), 2018, 2019, etc. But i do remember seeing them reunite at the 2017 awards, where they posted pics hugging, videos laughing together and stuff like that. then there are even videos after this on josh's youtube channel from 2018 of them hanging out and in 2019 watching drake and josh together acting like friends again. So idk if josh is a liar or a truther here, or maybe he's just not being clear on the timeline 🧐
