WOW! I've seen practically every interview this woman has given in the media and this is by far one of the top 3. Excellent. I only wish it could have gone on for another 30 minutes. And although I've heard Fonda talk about all these topics many times before, she adds things and approaches the questions in an interesting way thanks to the intelligence of the interviewer.
such a wonderful, courageous, honest, outspoken human being. Thanks Jane for giving these interviews, you´re inspirational for women of any age. Noone can give you strenght if you don´t find it inside, but seeing and hearing strong women sure helps developing your own.
Our generation was the same. I love & respect you Jane for enduring more than I could or would. I feel shorted, like you do, like our children do, but I was only a musician, political person as well, & I continue to advocate for the weak of which I am a part. I told my children & grandchildren that I should never have been a parent. I didn't know any better. I love them and/or feel sorry for them. I would never allow anyone to hurt them, but apparently I did, not having a clue. "Forgive them for they know not what they do." I'm trying w/ my parents as well.
I've been binging on Jane Fonda interviews as well, she is very honest and has had to overcome some really painful things. What happened to her mother is just beyond tragic.Thankyou for the uploads.
I WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND THE HATE PEOPLE HAVE THIS WOMAN...I understand where it all began, but like she said, I feel bad for them. for an accident this woman made years and years ago, and I truly believe every word that this woman speaks. To never listen to this woman speak, to her stories advice, her stories, her life, and learnings, you will miss out on so much. she has gives so much everytime she opens her mouth, I will forever be in complete awe and appreciation of this human being.
Carrying regret will make you physically ill. Jane Fonda is now 81 and still speaks of that regret of the picture taken of her on that plane. I hope she has forgiven herself. Just simply forgive herself. I want nothing for her but the best the world has to offer. She has beaten herself up enough over that photo. It's time to let it go.
MS. JANE FONDA,,, YOU ARE A WINNER ALL THE WAY AROUND ,, YOU DID IT YOU DID EVERYTHING IN THE WORLD,, YOU ARE COMPLETE,, WHOLE, AND YOUR GOLDEN WALK OUT OF THE SCREEN OF EARTH ,, THE SCREENING OF HEAVENS STARS YOU WILL BE! THANK YOU FOR THIS INTERVIEW,, I READ YOUR BOOK,, "MY LIFE SO FAR" ,, AND THE EXCLUSIVE DVD IN THE BACK OF THE BOOK, IS JUST THE ICING ON THE CAKE OF THAT BOOK! BRAVO! NANCY LEE KELLY/ACTRESS/SINGER /SONGWRITER!
When Jane says to the interviewer statement that she didn’t age and Jane says “ Do you want to see my scars ?” - a eureka moment occurred and the sea opened up and I instantly referred to janes staement about her mother showing her her scars and the effect that had on Jane - that no man would want her if she was scarred physically or not perfect. Introspection seemed to be the explanation as the source of depression and or pain according to her father.Jane had the courage brought on by advancing years at 60 with the recognition of time running out, she wanted to learn how to mother herself and be honest yet kind to herself, to not lie to herself to be authentic. Life must be real in order to be happy in your gut. The gut never lies no matter how we hide with drugs, eating disorders, whatever. She has so much courage I love Jane. She has helped me to recognize my own patterns of self sabatoge. I’ve always admired Chris Evert for the way she played tennis.she removed herself as an opponent. That’s the goal of life.. To learn to love ourselves. For others the lesson is to love others .
Thank you Jane for the many years of entertainment and political action. You were always the beautiful, talented woman. You became the role model. My family were the same way. I never got praise or celebration. A married women should be the goal of every woman. Single is to be mocked no matter how successful you were in life. She is right about women's insecurity.
Weird, ironically l just saw an interview with Jane & Marlo Thomas, it was 9 years ago and she seemed much more confident and less vulnerable. Could it be because shes being interviewed on a foreign blog? Any way l see her she's grand. Now Jane is in her 80's.
Let me ask you Ms. Fonda - Do you really think ''being a heroine leading the armies'' is typical of an adolescent girl or a young woman? You were so wonderful with Alain Delon or Peter McEnery or Robert Redford - I admire your performance there: your characters' feelings, emotions and your childish laugh even now at your age?
Miss Fonda, have you ever heard anything about 'Disposition' ? You are DEFINITELY A FASCINATING WOMAN and you know why? You seem to have gone through tough times, you have felt 'diversified ' feelings ,you were bold enough to have experimented on yourself which is not typical of a woman...by the way and still you are active. It's an achievement you have managed to C o o p e r a t e with your Father on the setting which was your demand from your early childhood . I wish I could share the knowledge and skills I have (latest achievement in Science )for your own good./when and if interested just give me a sign in your own way, I shall react correspondingly. With Great Respect,k.k./
May I ask you a question within the framework of my program: you married three different men three times ,did you change your name each time? By the way, I am surprised nobody has ever told you especially your husband that you could have been Madam Plemyannikov-a- for you are a woman unlike your husband Roger Plemyannikov- for he is a man.Otherwise you are CHARMANTE.

+Cineramicfilms best one was with barbara walters
I know Fonda and Walters are friends but I really don't care for how Walters conducts herself sometimes in interviews, pressing the person to cry.
+Cineramicfilms so right
Stina is a wonderful interviewer.

"I am not alone, I am with myself"
A 'female impersonator', an amazingly intelligent, witty observation :)
This got me too, how sad for such an adorable person to be made to feel this way.

Entertaining 🙂 The dog is thinking "oh how she underestimates me, she just doesn't get it."

Do you know what I remembered : ''I was taught that I aught not expose my inner senses...'' and it was obviously wrong,I understand you.

she had a gr8 facelift, would like to know her plastic surgeon's name. i can relate to Jane, my picker outter (men) is broken too, lol
How did she like the three ways? She had to get drunk. She used words like objectified and humanized. It wasn't healthy.
And she ended up having plastic surgery in the end.Didn't wanna focus on that portion of the interview too much, but I had to say it.
Years***** ago & she doesn't have duck lips.
