Can you do a video on the use of cold laser therapy (red light therapy). I see a lot of chiropractors using it. I tried it and don't believe it works.
Awesome!
It is easy enough to pubmed or google scholar “low level light therapy.” The physiological effects are well documented. To replace PT would be asinine, to augment is smarter, no?
How about the laser therapy?
@@grandinquizitor7412 if something is proven to relieve pain and inflammation and increase cellular function what does “working” mean. That it will magically retrain ROM or that it can facilitate normal PT rehab. The directives from the physio organizations concerning ultrasound (not my bag, btw) seem cautions against its exclusive use. What is the place for something augmentive like “cold laser” that has effect in addition to placebo.
Hi Khalid sir please post a video of IFT machine and placement of a pads for a joints and regions
Thank you!
Please comment on effectiveness of Shockwave therapy and I would love to here about IFT, TENS, laser therapy also
Thank you so much... and yes we absolutely have videos like these already, particularly on shockwave therapy!
I never knew. We are taught in our universities to do it. 😮

Where can we find guidelines?
Hi! I would simply google each of the ones mentioned e.g. “Australian physiotherapy association guidelines therapeutic ultrasound”
So long as the patient is fully informed and provided with a supporting active plan then I completely agree but those caveats also mean that it now fits into most national guidelines... it's almost as if the guidelines are right all along 😅
My opinion, it's purely placebo... but if it helps engage the patient in the nitty gritty afterwards then go for it.
@anonanon257 exactly which part is the "flakey" part? You haven't been specific at all, at least give some actualy criticism to a specific point please.
I wonder how it is still possible to accept this type of treatment. Patients must be treated with greater respect..
Interesting take! Appreciate it
