- A compilation of 21 of the Double Whammys from the Game Show Network (now GSN) original game show Whammy! The All-New Press Your Luck. This new compilation adds one more Double Whammy not seen in the previous pack of 20.

This Show needs to come back. It was one of my favourite modern day revisions of a game show from the 80s.
And so, it did.

The double whammy was a stroke of genius. Usually updates and modern remakes of shows suck, but this was a rare bit of awesomeness. They really should have kept it going. GSN sucks now, I used to watch it all the time, but now it's like all reality show crap.

My personal favorite double whammy is the Enron whammy. The whammy puts a stack of papers through a shredder and paper shreds are dumped on the person.

Fun fact: The contestant that hit Whamzilla and Weather Whammy was on an episode on the original series that featured Michael Larson.

You are right. That's Janie Litras-Dakan - what you saw was from the Larson reunion episode of Whammy! The All New Press Your Luck, which aired in 2003. Since Michael Larson was dead and buried by then (throat cancer took him in 1999), his brother, James, played against Ed and Janie.
