I think the Double Whammies were created for fans of the old Nickelodeon game show Double Dare, especially when you consider a.) the original Press Your Luck had to be the most appealing game show to kids of the 1980's like myself thanks to those Whammy animations, and b.) Double Dare premiered in 1986, the same year Press Your Luck was cancelled.
My favorite whammy is at 2:21. Where bill gets his camera stolen! Second favorite is the rapper whammy. And my third favorite is the one where he gets bleeped!

But I want them all to be computer animated instead of hand drawn, and I want them to have the original design with the yellow cape instead of this design.
