Ipf-Ries-Halbmarathon 2024 POV Running Race (long version)

‪@Dean_Trips‬ Dean runs a half marathon on a work layover in Germany at the 15th Ipf-Ries-Halbmarathon in May 2024. This is a point of view run as Dean films with his GoPro Hero 11 attached to a chest strap. The camera movement is a bit distracting but not as much as the arms and hands swinging into camera view for the entire run. Dean looks like he is trying to milk a cow or something. The atmosphere is great as are the fans cheering the runners along the way. The race runs point to point from Nördlingen in Bavaria to Bopfingen in Baden-Württemberg covering the 21.1 km (13.1 mile) first through the old historic town through the countryside to the finish. Dean takes one hour and thirty-five minutes and thirty-nine seconds to complete the half marathon earning him 32nd place out of 479 entrants and 3rd in his men's 55-59 age group.
