A good way to supplement your oat milk fiber content - would be to add in some cow (or goat !) milk for protein content - even some cream (fats, oils) for a creamier texture. Why not ! If you make oatmeal cereal, then you add in cow's milk (4%) or some half-and-half ... and you have the same consistency. So why not do it at the start.
Blendering up oat groats and water (pinch of salt) breaking down the oat grains for greater water absorption - and eventual leaching out the minerals, vitamins, aminos with the intact full grain fiber, ... for a total oat grain milk consumption - versus straining and tossing out the oat fiber. Thats almost like making oat milk, having strained oat fiber, then recombining them back into blendered oat meal porridge, and adding in some milk for a smoother oatmeal cereal breakfast.
