My husband saw his son in the bathroom. We are sitting in the very front row. And he seem really nice and you can tell by the way the kids are with Seger that it’s one happy family. Both kids are musical go figure!
Every concert that we’ve been to when we see Bob Seger you’re right it’s so packed and everybody’s in a great mood. There are never any fights and everyone’s just happy to be there :-)
He has a beautiful family and now he will get to enjoy more time with them. Nice to see the kids come onto the stage. I admire the fact that when his children came along, he took time off to be with them and watch them grow up. That is one regret that he will never have. We always enjoyed his shows. I had read once, that he never stayed in the town overnight after a concert, but flew home, so he could be there when his kids awoke in the morning.
Bob is a great guy off stage too. I've bumped into him many times as I live gery close to him. Seen him in a local guitar store, the Woodward Dream Cruise, etc. He's very accommodating and loves to interact with his fans in public. Really nice diwn to earth guy.
That’s always nice to know. I sent something to his house to see if I could get an autograph and he sent it back to me unsigned. I didn’t think he was that accommodating.
@@tanyalund9971 celebrities don't like to be bothered at home. Perhaps it was an oversight on his behalf? But if you catch him in public he's very accommodating and nice to his fans and will gladly interact with you. Just be mindful of what kind of setting it is, for example one time my girlfriend and I happened to be eating at a restaurant and he happened to be there with his wife. Instead of bothering him, I asked the waitress to send drinks to his table and tell him we said thank you for sharing his talent with the world. As he was heading out, he stopped by my table, shook my hand and thanked us. It would have been very invasive to just walk over to his table. But like I said, he's always at the Woodward dream cruise and will talk to you all day.
I have to tell you we went to the Eagles concert one time and. I didn’t realize it at the time but somebody bumped into me with their shoulder and it was Bob Seger. He was standing next to his wife watching Glenn Frey on stage. They were getting ready to leave Before the concert ended. My husband was to the right of me… He is the one who is the Uber, Bob Seger fan… I like him a lot, but I’m not crazy crazy crazy OMG it’s Bob Seger. Anyhow, I thought to myself if I don’t tap my husband on the foot to let him know who’s standing next to me he kill me… Lol so I did and my husband‘s body was just shaking. You have to understand that my husband rarely smiles and never gets really excited about anything but Bob Seger and there he was right next to me. When he left with his bodyguard, my husband grabbed Bob’s hand and said “hi Bob! Hi Bob!“ it was just the cutest thing ever. I don’t think at the point Bob knew what to do at that time :-) he just smiled.
In Louisville Kentucky I first saw Bob Seger open for Kiss just before Night Moves came out . Then at the Derby Eve Jam as the headliner . Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band was one of the best and tightest bands I ever saw . That's saying a lot ...since I saw nearly 150 concerts .

I remember playing Night Moves on 8track. He was my first concert back in '78. I still have the ticket stub! I would have loved to see him just one more time. I do have a picture of him and Kid Rock at the birthday party of a special needs guy I know. To me that shows his true character. He's a great guy!
What a great memory to carry on! I was grateful to see Bob twice back in 87 at pine knob and again at the Palace of Auburn Hills Michigan, the last Rock concert before demolition. I am so happy I saw Bob in my lifetime, listened as a kid so rock n roll never forgets Bob ......

I was at this DTE errrr Pine Knob show....it was an absolute love fest....you couldn’t squeeze one more person in the place. It was packed....a Detroit frickin love fest!
Thru all his songs of lost love and no love he is the hopeless romantic. I am also and at this point of my life his songs are ringing true. I realized today the man I've been seeing is the man I've fallen in love with. Bob has written many songs that are special in my heart and each time I hear true love I cry...simply because after what I thought was that wasnt but it is now and my heart bursts each time I hear these songs knowing now how I feel loving someone and feeling the special caring I'm getting back. Ty bob as when I'm not with him all I have to do is fire up my stereo and listen to the songs. You finally look happy and your family is beautiful

Wow, that would be really cool I remember the last concert that we went to here in DTE my husband saw seekers kid in the men’s bathroom… He was really friendly he said hi and walked away.
I like that one also… It was just very nice to see Bob Seger’s two children up on stage with him too. I would happen to agree with you… The one thing that a lot of people can't see from the back when he singing he always has a smile on his face. It's pretty cool to still be smiling at 72. The band helps him out quite a bit lately by coming in in and covering for him, but he is still amazing :-)
From the videos I have seen. Bob truly LOVES to put on a great show. No flashy stuff. Just raw and pure talent that just is hard to come by now a days from other musicians. . A master at his craft . Added bonus .... No freaking Autotune ! What you are hearing is his vocal cords to the mic ... straight to the speakers !!!! Just simply awesome !!!

I doubt the Bob Seger will ever tour again, but I will see if I can upload some more videos. If he ever decides to tour again without alto reed we will be front and center for more videos. I’m so glad that you’re enjoying the videos as much as I enjoyed taking them.

I completely disagree with you, he has done this every three years or so. He still sounds good and he has always worn a T-shirt. He wasn’t using his family as a prop by any means. You are entitled to your own opinion, However I disagree.
You know what they say about opinions - They're like assholes. Everyone has one. This guy, even at his age, can sell out an arena of fans even at his age. And if he is around in another 10 years, his fans would show up to see him then too. Sometimes it's not all about the voice, it's also about the emotion and memories that a performer can elicit from their audience. In your eyes is a person not valuable if they are fat? I guess all the mega selling overweight performers never got that message. What's wrong with a shirt & ballcap? I do not care if a performer comes out in rags or a Bozo costume as long as they are entertaining me. I have watched my share of buskers on the street and some are pretty down & out. I still love to watch them. Does a man have to wear 20lbs of jewelry, skinny jeans or pants around his knees to impress you. Some people like their men to look like men. I'm pretty sure you fit into one of those categories. He also was not hiding behind his kids, he brought them on stage because this is a final tour & he is retiring. What the hell have you contributed to the world that makes you so unkind about a man who is not only a legend in the industry but a much loved one at that, a philanthropist that has given more money to charity and to causes to help the world than you will ever make in your lifetime. What are you doing, what impact will you leave on this world when you are no longer here? Just because you age does not mean you become dispensable. Something to think about because one of these days you are going to be an old man that no-one has any use for either.

That man can rock a stadium better than anyone. Always has, always will. Saw him in 1979 and 2019 and both concerts were outstanding...equally. Sadly, you missed out on a legend! Most trolls do.

got tickets for him saturday night at mohegan sun in connecticut. i live in albany,but it is well worth the two and half hour drive.
