- Nine suspects have been shot dead in a gun battle with police at Desai in Mariannhill in the early hours of this morning.
Police say the suspects have been terrorising the community for some time. Two other people are still on the run as authorities continue their investigations.
Our reporter Vusi Khumalo is at the scene and joins us live with an update.
