I have not researched the T maxx and really don't know much about it, other than it is a great performer. You really did a lot of work to yours and it came out awesome. What impresses me the most is how the motor mount in. It looks like it would be real easy to set mesh or swap out motors on the fly. Thanks so much for showing the inside workings of the T-maxx. 👍👍
To protect the bottom of the transmission, you could cut out part of an old skid plate, and zip tie it or somehow secure it to the bottom chassis braces.
Hello!!!I have just Subscribed to your channel GREAT CONTENT!!!!but I have a question what transmission are you using I think I hear you say brushless transmission? What car did this come out of?
hey I liked your Video and subscribed.but how did those center drive shafts work.i fry my rear center shaft just about every run.its a quick fix but tired of doing it plz let me kno
@@elfocker oh crap I forgot it was an emaxx one, sorry didn't pay attention I make a stock tmaxx 2.5 electric and keep burning up the stock clutches, but thanks for getting back to me, unlike most youtubera
My shocks like that leaked from day one. This was 10 to 15 years ago when they first came out. So much money wasted. Had to cut them off to boot. The hardware stripped trying to get them off.
Aladino Reyes it's been a long time since I sold it 😢 I believe it was a 4274 it was huge that thing kicked ass. I loved it. It's on sale now. www.hobbypartz.com/07e-c-combo-m1.html
You can definitely run a stock transmission. You need to make it Forward only and you need to make it single speed that's the only two modifications. I've been running mine with the stock plastic spur gear if you have a slipper set right and your gear mesh that right you can run the piss out of it with no problem if you're breaking transmission parts you're doing something wrong. Mainly having 2050 motor way too much torque.

Thanks for the sub. The transmission I used was the e-maxx or e-revo brushless. (same). Also use the same motor mount off that transmission. 👍
@@elfocker SWEET!!!Thanks for the reply back you have Great content!!!
Hi very neat layout...what is your spur and pinion ratio, are you using what discharge is it 40c or 20c tnx
How is that motor mount mounted?

what happens if you run the old emaxx transmission 3906 ?
I don't remember why I didn't try that. Maybe because it didn't fit or the brushless was cheaper at the time.
Where did you find that slipper clutch??!?! I've been looking for a different one for a long time!
It came with the transmission. Full stock. I think I got it on ebay.

No problem, good luck on your build. 👍 You won't regret it. I regret selling mine 😓
what part number for motor mount
Very nice and clean job! Btw, where did you get the motor mount from? Thank you!
If you mean the blue motor mount, it's a stock brushless revo or Emaxx mount. BTW the transmission is from the same truck.
Got it! Thank you so much!!
Do you have a part number for the motor mount? Thanks.
Did you do any changes on the transmission gears?
t maxx nope, completely stock. Including spur gear.
toyspeed71 so you didnt put the single speed kit or forward only kit on transmission.?
t maxx no, that transmission is from the brushless tmaxx. Rtr. That motor will shred the gears off the 2.5 transmission.
toyspeed71 okay .I thought your using the 2.5 transmission.
toyspeed71 because I'm using the 2.5 transmission
is it still a 1/8 scale motor?
really nice conversion bro.you got my sub
Thanks.

What motor mount did u use?
t maxx brushless tranny and mount from traxxas revo or Emaxx. Both the same.
Great video I’ll definitely subscribe

Can you use 1 battery instead of 2?
t maxx yes but you would need an adapter. You will have a big loss in power though unless you use a 3cell.
toyspeed71 can i use 120A esc 2050kv?
Yes
toyspeed71 what battery will i use?
t maxx bro it depends on your budget, check out hobbypartz.com look at all the options. You can also find a esc with a single battery connector.
yes
