Royals vs Padres World Series is going to be epic

Wait what? I’m a Royals are my team, but I’m expecting them to get outed it the ALDS or ALCS.
Bobby Witt is my favorite SS but I’m gonna be real I think the Royals are not gonna beat the O’s at all. Baltimore is just gonna be too much for them. Yall pitching is gonna be nice but the bats are not gonna be there. That’s just my take

Detroit-San Diego World Series....repeat of the 1984 World Series......which I was in attendance for.....game 4. Don't forget bro.....Detroit JUST beat Baltimore 4 out of 6 times over the last two weeks, so I'd say Detroit has Baltimore's number right now. Detroit is surging.....Baltimore has been slumping hardcore. Momentum is important......ask the 1991 Braves......the 2007 Rockies and last years Arizona team....all got hot in the last month and a half and ALL reached the World Series. As a Tigers fan I'm biased.....
but right now Detroit IS THE team to beat in both leagues. Nobody can figure out this pitching staff as a whole.....the entire American League is clueless how to hit these guys right now. And unless an answer just drops out of the sky from nowhere in ANY AL teams lap then
we may be seeing shirts next month saying "Tigers Roar in 24" lights out pitching is what wins games in October.....and Detroit's is THE best in The American League. The Roar of 24 IS real.

Saying the orioles have a better bullpen then the Yankees is pure name recognition bias. The Yankees numbers are just better this year the orioles just have more established names

The Orioles ranked 17th in RP fWAR this year. The Yankees rank 19th.

One thing I do recognize though is Clay Holmes blew 12 saves.
@@rhyde Yankees are 7th in Team ERA Orioles are 14th, Yankees are 5th in BA against Orioles are 11th, Yankees are 4th in strike outs per 9 Orioles are 13th, Walks and Hits per inning they are even ... hadn't seen the RP fWAR stat tho....neat. Im sure Clay Holmes blowing 12 saves fucked that number up, he most likely wont be pitching in high leverage spots this post season. Weaver has been closing for the past few weeks..

It's kind of nice that nobody is picking the Dodgers for a change. That immediately increases their chances of winning it all. When was the last time a "favorite" has even made it to the world series, let alone won?
My guess is padres for the NL, and Astros/Tigers for the AL. I could see the tigers being really sneaky, and especially if they play the Yankees. The Yankees have a history of choking

Not so fast. We have Burnes and Eflin as he said. Dean Kremer has always owned the Yankees. And the Yankees are one of the fundamentally worst division winners I've seen in a while. You just aren't going to do anything in the playoffs when you're as bad on the bases and as bad defensively as the Yankees are. Especially since the Orioles are absolutely loaded with left handed power hitters, plus Adley and Santander switch hitting who are gonna hit fly balls and line drives to Soto a lot and he just has absolutely no idea what he's doing out there

My dream is to have my 2 favorite teams play in the World Series, the Tigers and the Phillies. I'm happy you think the Tigers can upset the Astros, I'd be very happy if they make it as far as the ALCS, that'll mean a very exciting 2025 for the Tigers.

Definitely not crazy. Detroit was the best team in baseball the last 6 weeks, and they were 9-3 against AL playoff teams in that run as well.

Baseball is so weird. The Phillies didn't finish strong. And that many days off can put top seeds in a cold spell. We've seen it before. I bet we are in for a surprise again this year.
What I’ve learned the last two years is that whatever a team did in the regular season is irrelevant. Braves have the same chance as the Padres or Dodgers to go the distance.
Padres learned that late season Dodgers ain't the same as early season Dodgers.
Phillies about to learn that too.

Lmao you looked for every little detail as to why the Yankees will lose their series, and pretend that having Judge and Soto is not that big deal, ignoring that Gleyber has been red hot as of late, Jazz has been playing amazing, Wells finishing a solid rookie campaign, Rizzo is back and playing good, and Stanton turns into a beast in October, and the Yankees will come in fresh and rested to the series. Didn’t mention how the Orioles had an awful second half. Funny thing, they just lost their first game vs Royals. Just all around pretty bad arguments, and typical anti Yankee agenda

Man so close to what I had at the end I like what the Orioles got man good pitching bullpen and stacked lineup I had Cleveland taking that though just due to their head to head numbers being better and their lineup has also been very strong this year better than last year for sure and as far as the Phillies go I had them winning it all against Cleveland although East vs East is a good idea that was my next option to be honest but if the Tigers go all the way I won’t be surprised they’ve been red hot for sure! I couldn’t believe they beat the Astros already… Tarik Skubal has been awesome for them this year! Their lineup is solid but I just think someone is gonna throw them off with some deep good pitching and or bullpen I just feel like that’s Cleveland to me their starting hasn’t been as steady which is true but I think the lineup can come alive JRam and Naylor have been beasts this year Lane Thomas low-key has been a solid pickup for them too can’t sleep on Steven Kwan either he’s been on many of my fantasy teams and has done very good I am curious to see what happens next great video as usual 🙂

Bro is SLEEPING on Stanton for no reason. “Stanton has to step up” look at his 2024 stats and career post season stats. You have the trio in middle, gleyber one of the hottest hitters in baseball at leadoff and jazz is like a restart leadoff hitter. Dominguez and volpe at bottom to round it out. Brutal lineup to face with enough starting pitching to let the top 5 bullpen handle the rest after 5 innings
My bold prediction of a team making a unexpected deep run will be the Royals. I like their pitching and think they can make it to the ALCS. But I have Padres over Astros in the world series.
Before the season i predicted Royals would go all the way... granted i said they'd beat the Nationals in 7 but I'll take getting the prediction half right

Wow I use to think you actually did your homework when you did your videos but your take on the guardians is so off you talk about manzardo saying he has been producing but if you look at is stats since he was brought back up at the beginning of September he most definitely has and you never even mentioned lane Thomas another since the beginning of September has just been mashing you try to say the rotation is one of the worst in baseball is completely wrong there mid yeah but not worst you blew off Boyd like he was doing nothing when all he’s done since coming on to the team is produce and you never even mentioned Alex Cobb who will be healthy and ready to go by the time the series comes around add that to Bibee and that’s a great postseason rotation the one thing you did give them credit for is the bullpen which is a historical great one and with a bullpen that deep and good you don’t need a lights out rotation to win just get it to the 5th or 6th I’m not saying that there the odds on favorite too win it all but they don’t lose to the tigers

For the ALWC, I see the Orioles beating the brakes off of the Royals, and although it’s close, the Trashstros unfortunately beating the Tigers. As for the NLWC, the Padres look too good, and I think the Brew Crew will upset this amazing Mets run!

Dodgers will beat the Orioles to win the World series
The tigers have a better lineup than the Guardians??? Steven Kwan is one of the best lead off men in MLB. Jose Ramirez 39 Homeruns and 115 RBI. Josh Naylor 31 Homeruns and 106 RBI. The Guardians finished 12th in all of MLB in homeruns. Out of 30 teams. Kwan, Ramirez, and Nayor are better than ANY of Detroits hitters. This dude is a joke.
I'm not sure I follow the logic for the Tigers beating the Guardians. Outside of Skubal, which is an advantage, the Tigers have "chaos". Rotation is Cleveland's weakness, but per local writers the team appears set to go Bibee, Boyd and Cobb (threw a simulated game yesterday, with one more Friday). Cobb will be their largest risk/reward move. They also have long-relief opportunities for arms like Williams, Lively, Cantillo. Their bullpen remains the single biggest advantage of any team in the playoff field, as it is statistically one of the greatest pens of all-time. They also added Andrew Walters and Erik Sabrowski in September, who have looked very good. Granted, pens are fickle and all it takes is one or two bad outings from Gaddis, Smith, Herrin, or Clase to derail a series.
As far as the lineup, the month of September is when Cleveland really started to put it together. Individual wRC+ in the month of September were Jose - 162, Manzardo - 147, Thomas - 137, Fry - 105, J Naylor - 106, Brennan - 141, Rocchio - 102. Their lineup became considerably deeper with the emergence of Manzardo and the resurgence of Thomas. The lineup stands to potentially see a boost too with the addition of Kwan and hopeful room for improvement from Josh Naylor and Andres Gimenez. Bottom line; feels like too much credit is being given to the Tigers due to recency bias, even if they do deserve the respect they are getting.

NYY fan here but I think your predictions are right on the money -- maybe the only thing that I would change is the Mets beating the Brewers but then losing in the next round. I think the Phillies win it all over the Orioles in the end.

The fact that the Braves even made the playoffs with the injuries is impressive. Everything from here on out is a bonus. And yes. The Dodgers had injuries. But not to important pieces of their lineup.
Have you seen their starting rotation injuries? They didn't have mookie Betts for 2 months.
@franciscoverjan7397 Yeah. They still had Ohtani, Freeman, Smith, Hernandez, and Lux. It's not like they couldn't out score their pitching issues. And those pitching issues came late in the season. The Braves were missing Harris for three months, lost the reigning NL MVP, a Cy Young tier pitcher, Murphy for half the season, and an all-star third baseman for most of the season. And Albies for most of the season. The Braves have been using castoffs and bench players for most of the season. Don't even get me started.
