The Italian-made WINGAMM Oasi 610 GL van perfectly displays how the overhead bed design contributes to an excellent rear garage area as you have wisely pointed out with your own re-design aspirations.
I recently came across your channel, subscribed two days ago, but aside from the wonderful builds you do (and you always give credit to Alex for his outstanding artworks), your explanation of all you do, and your sharing of knowledge, you are a natural. Your honesty simply pores through. Thank you, be safe and well.
Even if you only got a single van built to HRoad standards it's still better than all those van shops who build 'your' van 'their' way. You're the best!
I've been watching this channel since its infancy, and have constantly been amazed at the increased quality and the overall growth of the channel. Happy New Year, George (and crew)! I can't wait to see what 2022 has in store!
So stoked to see the Pleasureway excel build! I recently bought one and I plan to do a garage build out with a automatic bed elevator using 8020, linear bearings, and some type of actuators. Most likely track actuators
The word is out now! Hire wisely and watch that waiting list grow anyway. The QUALITY CONTROL CIRCLE is such a proactive, ongoing, and real-time reality with you.
You are amazing. The cardboard cut out walk though is absolutely brilliant and no small effort. I have a Rivian R1S LE on order and plan burn quite a few of my time off taking road trips when I get it. I plan to SUV camp quite a bit while it charges overnight while traveling to the destinations. Some destinations are for me (a little more rustic and do some mountain biking). I plan to maybe “upgrade” to camp gourds every now and then. My hope is to meet people like you along the way. Some of destinations will be for my wife to join me. I plan to pick her up from the airport and stay at nice hotels while she’s “visiting me”. :-)
George you are the BOMB! Fun to see how you've re-tooled from the photography days- Doing a visual inventory of your space, Im not surprised to see C Stands and Apple Boxes making the transition with you. The "detail thing" from the high end studio days plays right into the way you execute your projects! I feel that Italian spirit in your personality, and hope to be a client (Family) someday! Blessings in this new year! Ken V
I'm so happy I came across this site, I think I finally found the one who will make my future abode .... thank you for sharing your skills and talent. I'm so excited and looking forward to seeing more of your builds and mine in the near future.
Hi there. I haven’t forgotten you and all the help along the way. I was in the hospital in the ER Covid unit for five days and was the only survivor wit 57% viral pneumonia. I love watching your videos and you have inspired me with hope to look forward to being able to remove my homemade Murphy bed out and make better use of that space when the neuropathy in my hands and feet subsides. Meanwhile you always inspire me and I love my van because of your help and safety suggestions. God bless you.
Made it to the end. Those “family members” acquired a pretty awesome Uncle George! The rest of us are jealous. Guess we just have to settle with these videos. ❤️❤️❤️
I have very recently found your channel and I can't stop watching your videos. I also can't stop talking about your work ethic, and craftsmanship to my wife. "Oh no, It's not about George again" she often says when I want to show her a video of yours. From one George to another, happy new year.
You are the greatest in everything..love how you were small pointing to the filters..wow love the channel and seeing your inventiveness and perfection to every aspect on build..you set the bar way up for all 🍷😁
Can't fault the Victron kit! Using the Multiplus II 3000/24 in my conversion. It's a beast. The van's plugged in 24/7 when we're home. It schedule charges between 00:30 and 04:30 when it's cheap electricity and discharges back into the house during the day. It's halved my electricity bill for the house. The battery will have paid for itself in 2 years ;) Hope you have a great 2022!
I used the diyvan mounting plate for my Maxx Air fan and it made getting a clean result really simple. No need for doubling/tripling up layers of butyl tape or cutting pieces of wood to fill the gaps. Definitely recommend.
Congrats on all your progress, I hope 2022 is even more productive and creative! We've got that same CNC in our shop and it's been fantastic. There has definitely been a learning curve, and we're still learning 18 months later. Things do break so you should be prepared with some spare parts (linear bearings in particular). Feel free to reach out if you have any problems with it. We've been salivating over that milwakee crimper for a while, maybe it's time to bite the bullet. That is one nice tool! Hopefully we can meet up sometime, I think we're only 40 minutes away. It would be great to foster a van builder community on the east coast that embraces collaboration more than competition. Cheers
Congratulations Mr. George. A most happy and healthy 2022 to you and yours. Thank you for an entertaining docuseries of your extraordinary van builds. Simply~Beautiful.. I happened upon your channel out of curiosity of van builds and stayed for your sense of humor and video production 5*. I'm on to helicopters now but still check your channel out. Thanks You..
Congratulations Mr.Humbleroad! Been watching your channel from early on. Great to learn from you as you learn & share. Thank you! You’ve def. become a bonafide van builder. Have a safe & happy year in 2022!
Congrats on a great 2021, you deserve it. You make incredible vans but more importantly (to me anyway) you are inspiring and make outstanding content. Thanks for taking the time to make these videos. I wish you great success in the future but I do hope you never get too busy to make videos.

Hey George! Is it possible to have a Class C Camper where the seats swivel? I don't think I have ever seen this done before although I don't know why anybody wouldn't want a bigger wider Class C where you can swivel the two front seats to face a big table in front of the back seat 3 person bench seat! Then you can have a big open living area in front looking out of the side sliding door which I would also like to see incorporated into the Class C market! If we can have a big sliding door on a van why can't we have it on a Class C? This is truly inspiring, your dedication to all your projects is exemplary but also the fact you invest in better tools and trying out new devices (vacuum table, CNC, 3D printer) deserves an applause. Been watching your videos throughout my own van built and you are the most professional channel out there. Hope your business becomes super-successful, you truly deserve this. Bravo
George, thank you for making our 2021 dreams come true! I know that we were a bit of a pain by not being the most patient. The build is a pleasant reminder of the best part of the year. Thank god each morning we can set our feet on the ground. Continue to grow and be prosperous but most importantly have a healthy new year!
Congratulations George! Wishing you, your family and your business a very happy, prosperous and safe new year! Looking forward to seeing the latest innovations that you come up with in your builds. Best Wishes in 2022 and beyond!
Congratulations on an awesome 2021! What an exciting year to look back on for Humble Road. So many accomplishments and shared-learning! It was a pleasure to watch you and the team. Your ethics, humility, and justness are a solid foundation for best in class quality and safety. BTW -- Absolutely agree with your cardboard mock-ups. No other process will match that level of customer participation/feedback. It pays huge dividends in avoidance of miscommunications. Plus I personally really enjoy the cardboard walk-through from a viewer perspective as it whets the appetite for the final product! Looking forward to your 2022! Happy New Year to you and yours!
High standards will always rise to the surface. Great work ethos. Only one or two large RV builders seem to come close to your finished product. Regards from U.K. AJ
Love your approach to your work George. You look at everything in a practical common sense way. Quality tools make a quality job when operated by a quality engineer👍 Be careful double crimping those terminals. Quality terminals have a slight flare at the cable entry. Do not distort or flatten this flare as it is there to prevent stress and work hardening on the strands. Particularly important with fine multi strand cable like you are using. Having spent a number of years as a specialist vehicle builder working with military and emergency vehicles, I have learnt alot about the issues that vehicles have with reliability and most problems are due to very minor mistakes made during the build process. Happy new year and keep up the good work mate👍
You are taking travel into a great direction. We like our class c motorhome but the systems are all old school. And what comes out of the factories is the same ole stuff we have had since the beginning. Our main complaints are with systems for water heat, air conditioning, and the need for propane.
Happy New Year George, looks like the humble road is on a nice grade with a good view and favourable driving conditions. Love the update, don’t get a chance to keep up often so this is great, in a nutshell so to speak. Look forward to checking in through the year. Cheers mate.
Happy New Year 2022, George, and, congratulations on your continued success with the van building trade! I’m so happy for you!…and, I am dreaming of the day I’ll be bringing ‘my’ Promaster 2500 to you to install all of your fantastic works of wonders! Stay safe, God bless, and, have a great week coming! ~Jim~
Happy New Year George. Great documentary of the Humble Road. Bigger electrical systems also means considering working with higher voltages. Higher voltages means higher safety requirements. One of them being connecting with the airbag system, so in case of a collision, the whole electrical system is cut-off immediately.
Its been great watching this channel! The extra effort to light, film, AND custom-build each van is appreciated - Thanks! I look forward to seeing what your team will do in '22.
Thank you, George, for sharing all your clever innovations in such an entertaining way. You're so inspirational in your practicality. Do you have any plans for rainwater collection systems on vans? Seems like it'd be a great way to ensure there's plenty of water when in most places without having to depend on filling up when visiting out-of-the-way locations. I'm wondering if you have done any builds with laundry capabilities. I had an idea of installing a laundry chute inside the van that sends it into a removable receptacle underneath, though I don't know if that would be practical.
What a great year! I love your summary at the end. Now, I say, more people need to throw a like down on your videos after watching them to show the appreciation for all your hard work! Can't wait to see one of the mini's you are doing this year. I sure wish I could be one of the owners of one. Will just drool from the sidelines for now until I am ready to upsize my minivan...lol. Happy New Year to you and best of luck in the growth of your space, equipment, staff, and van builds.
I have be looking at those Pleasure-Way Excel Ford Vans. There are a few for sale at Lee's in Connecticut. Most are V10. I also like the Leisure Travel ones but don't think they were made after 2003.
George what a major achievement that started from one "humble" van build. Here hoping you and your crew have a happy, healthy, and prosperous New Year!

I haven't given rainwater collection in a van much thought. I am building a collection system at my home, though.
Congratulations on another year of growth. What an inspiring progression.
Happy New Year!
Happy New Year George, congratulations on your move, we've love following your journey. Excited to see the growth of your vision, thanks for sharing!
yay so cool
What a great year! I love your summary at the end. Now, I say, more people need to throw a like down on your videos after watching them to show the appreciation for all your hard work! Can't wait to see one of the mini's you are doing this year. I sure wish I could be one of the owners of one. Will just drool from the sidelines for now until I am ready to upsize my minivan...lol. Happy New Year to you and best of luck in the growth of your space, equipment, staff, and van builds.
Happy new year!
I have be looking at those Pleasure-Way Excel Ford Vans. There are a few for sale at Lee's in Connecticut. Most are V10. I also like the Leisure Travel ones but don't think they were made after 2003.
Lee's has two right now that I would look at if I had the Dough-Re-Me.
George what a major achievement that started from one "humble" van build. Here hoping you and your crew have a happy, healthy, and prosperous New Year!
