A lap at the old Sachsenring, fimed in the summer of 2016. This street circuit was used from 1927 to 1990 and is now replaced by a permanent race track.

A fabulous circuit. I drove the original layout back in 1990 whilst it was still in use.

Yes it was. I would realy like to do some laps at speed, which isn't possible now because of the traffic. Especially the MTS-Kurve was great.

at 6:23, right the little way to the famous James Guthrie Memorial stone
and at 6:38 starting barriers on the left, from the latest version of the track with the chicane

Where is the track map? I tried to follow along using Google Earth/Google Maps, but got lost and could never figure out where on the circuit you were at!

I'm replacing all onboard videos by new versions with track map and indicator. But it will take a while before all onboards are replaced.
