Hey, guys! In this video I am gonna tell you about fixes and updates that CS2 needs in 2024 to feel enjoyable and perfectly playable again. The community has been asking for those updates for a really long time so I have collected all of it in 1 video.

the tracer thing pisses me off so much in cs2 like i see all tracers going to chest but i hit 0 shots
Also the blood effect that comes out when you "hit" someone yet no shot registered with damage

I really dont know how it can be acceptable for the game to give you visual info that is just a lie. It has to be a nightmare for new players to get to know and feel the spray when what you see is not what you get.

1. fix the entire game
2. make csgo and cs2 seperate games
3. release the game as it should have been instead of it being rushed
Stopping power is one of the most annoying things since on even a moderate ping it will appear shooting someone doesn't slow their movement speed until the 3rd bullet after you landed a hit. It just feels unnatural trying to track.

Only thing the game needs right now is an intrusive anti-cheat, the rest they can add after.
The thing when you miss your first 2-3 bullets and then you can't hit any following bullets is so infuriating

Really good and relatable video, I personally agree with everything.
I think another thing u need to fix is the Shotgun and Run and gun Mac10/mp9 Meta.
haix you are a damn mind reader, i was literally making this exact list with the exact same categories like a week ago. really hope valve sees this and fixes cs2
p.s. i also think for the easy commands, they should add back the old net graph because of more precise server latency and fps readings :)
5:10 -> There is an awesome resource from Valve about how to start server from your own pc for free. Takes some knowledge such as knowing right ports of game and directing them to your pc. There are also many and many videos, documentations and explanations of any sort about issues that you may come in to.
Feels like more energy and intelligence was spent into making this 10min video, than the whole CS2 team creating a broken game

The ping part is wrong.
People with low ping always have the worst experience right now.
2:07 steam has an official FAQ on lefthand in source games (its very old--from when they appeared to care)
Have had ALOT of incidents where i or a teammate has clearly landed a headshot (sparks from head and all) and then when round ends no damage had been delt.

I'm on far east coast Canada and my ping is ALWAYS 40-60 every fucking gunfight feels like a jumpscare man. People either just fucking appear there because they have mega ping or it looks like the guy had 1ms reaction times and headshot me before my brain could even register that he was there. The ping and peekers advantage is just so outrageous in cs2
5:05 you dont need to buy a server. if you have access to your home router, you can port forward 27015 to your pc and invite friends to your game. still stupid but it works without spending money

Works only if your ISP gives you a real "white" external IP. Meaning it's not NAT'ed and shared between multiple users. Tho, you don't need it to be static, 'cause "dynamic IPs" are reset only on session termination, which happens most of the time when you restart your router. Btw, could be an easier option to set up a VPN between your and your friend's PCs using some sort of remote access SW, like AnyDesk, TeamViewer, etc.
You can actually host offline lobbies in cs2, the functionalities are there its just that the ports are not open for some reason and you need to port forward csgo ports, like when you make a minecraft server. This wasnt a problem isn csgo, very good job devs! :)

seems like you have to be faster with the spray transfer
The ping thing annoys me a lot. From Central-East of EU I get 40-50 ping and when I play against 80-90 ping players I die from behind walls at least half of the times

You can host own servers by simply forwarding the 27015 port on your wifi router
I think some of the client side commands are disabled because they cant be displayed probably. Take cl_righthand 0 for example. U would have to adjust the shadows and a lot more things. My guess is that valve is working on implenting those commands the right way but it will take time
They didn't adjust shadows in csgo so what's the difference, the cl right-hand is for preference in being right eye or left eye dominant, it doesn't change hands in the 3d model just you own FOV,

Another thing barely anyone talks about is the game randomly resets your brightness setting to 100 but still shows whatever you had put before, meaning every time I launch the game I have to think about adjusting it again, it's so annoying.
The Bob thing kills me. Depending on which eye dominant, being able to choose between left or right handed view models can aid the players who have left or right dominant eyes. In CS:GO, I would use snipers right handed and every other rifle left handed (depending on how I feel). I also played with no bob movement
the spray tracers are fixed on a past update to be very accurate you may have forgotten.
Weren't tracers and bullet impacts also client side on CS GO. I might be misremembering but I could've sworn they were just client side approximations of where your shots landed and the other color in sv_showimpacts was the only way to actually see where your shots landed on server side.

i had the bullet tracers turned on in csgo but when i shifted to cs2 those tracers felt wierd like a little bit thicker and felt like i was shooting a gatling gun rather then a rifle. But when i turned my texture setting from low to medium then the tracers looked exactly like it used to do in csgo. wtf? so now tracers quality changes with change in texture quality? i really don't like that shit. I want to set textures to low and have the thinner version of tracers like medium texture setting instead of have these thick ass tracers on low texture.

The sliding while standing on top if heads comes from valve trying to fix the triple stacks boost to get into parts of the map that shouldn't be accessible
they should start doing what wargaming does. INVISIBLE WALLS around places you shouldn't be in or on top of.

You can actually play offline with friends, you just need to do the port forwarding shits which is a lil confusing
the tracers can be turned off in the settings. "show player tracers"
lets talk about the boost bug thing cuz when i rub myself on a teammate randomly i get flung away almost like the flash boost except i dont fly im just like a car not like an airplane so yes this is really broken
To disprove a point u made, if you want to play cutom maps with friends you gotta open a range of ports in your router settings, I know its annoying but its free and i hope valve fixes this
every death i get is behind some wall, i quitted playing cs2 for that reason
They wont add the tracers one back because the devs dont know where your bullets are going so hey cant add tracers since it feels like its based on quantum entanglement
i am just tired of aiming right but still missing plz fix this now this is more frequent

Gonna write it again ping around 5. In causal games for example. you have high moments of 'not getting what you clicked'
one more thing about faceit is that not everyone can play it, their anticheat requires tpm 2.0, a lot of people dont have tpm 2.0 as it requires a ryzen 3000 series or intel 8th gen cpus which most people still on windows 10 dont have, and a lot of cs2 players play on windows 10
Haix pls make video on how to balance skills, i used to be a very flashy awper but i was shit with rifles, im now a very flashy rifler but an awfull awper, i lost my awp skills in like 5 days
Crashes and performance issues as well as making old gpus work with cs2 like the 10 series. Death animations = crash
the offline lobbies need to be fixed asap, it's crazy how the game didn't come with that
Yes I be trying to teach new players certain things and it makes this difficult.. hard for new players to want to play if they can't learn.
They actually do work, its just that the PORTS are not open. You can fix it by port forwarding the csgo ports

Valve never invested into their AC.
FACEIT is owned by very rich arabs who invested a shit ton of money into the AC, that's why.
I find this to be the funniest because 100% of arabs that i get in my matches are hackers
@@HaiX Whilst the investment into the anticheat is part of it, the other side is that VAC is not a kernel (ring 0) level anticheat, whereas faceit anticheat is, kernel anticheats are widely regarded to be more invasive in comparison to an anticheat like VAC. Whilst I am making an inference here, I think that valve is against implementing a ring 0 driver anticheat considering that they have been commonplace for quite a while now.
oh ya, forgot about the kernel ac thing, that make more sense. and because most of valve games are cross platform, they will never think about kernel ac. but still, valve needs the workaround.

It seems a lot of people forgot about cl_forcepreload. It was in CSGO for the longest time, eventually got removed because it worked as intended (slower time to join server = smoother game). Why they removed that? No fucking clue. Bring it back.

The blood stain splatter is so fking distracting and I missed my shots and falsely shoot spots because of this
reason cl_righthand is not being added is that cs2 is different than csgo. Csgo was shooting from middle of body (srry my english is shit) and now cs2 is only bullets shoot from right hand thats why shoulder peeking is insane and thats maybe same reason as spray being bad and cl_bob not being added

Cs 2 really need to strengthen their anti hack system that is top thing to do for them
ps viemodel is changeable in cs2 actually, with cl_viewmodel xD
if valve couldn't even add bob or steam tags I doubt they will ever add anything else
128 tick and fix the interpolation issues.
For me, the main problem right now is the sub-tick that Valve implemented. I really hope they realise IT DOESNT WORK. The bad recoil, the feeling you're strafing in an ice cube, jumping and movement in general would be way more accurate if Valve just implemented 128tick.
we have 2 matches a day on faceit and we have to pay to play on the only server so thats out of the option

If they don't care about old players it means that the PRO scene is gonna die, since old pros won't like the game.
CS2 is currently only alive because of the PRO scene.
I hope a major overhaul update will come including all the things you are talking about in this Video. The game is really fkn unfinished
idk why everyone forgets the fps issue, the new engine made the game run terrible on intergrated graphics, i was atleast getting 90FPS on csgo but now its rare to see 50FPS. and maps like inferno, ancient & overpass run at 20. i quitted cs2 because of just this
Fixed a gap in geometry
Valve is just disappointing its playerbase left and right. Hopefully they are going to throw a massive update at us which covers all this instead of the regular "bug fixes".

Just adding the console commands would fix 99% of the reasons I play CS2 less than I played CSGO
Don't forget removing the massive vignette at the bottom of the screen! 30% of the screen shouldn't be blacked out. It's ridiculous.
play workshop maps with friends, you are wrong! set cs 2 launch options --> -maxplayers 16 then forward port 27015 in your router. aaaaand it works.
I played cs2 with an adaptive mindset, reached 22k Elo while solo queuing and on mobile data with 56% win rate, all I did was kept my head down and played the game
You got 22k because of mobile data, the peakers advantage probably
to get average 120+ fps need minimum 10 gen cpu.... what about us that is still using 4-5-6 gen cpu.... is this cs2 become the game for the richer right now... ?

Sorry to tell you but tf2 is same as cs 1.6 and css you need to use hamachi/radmin vpn to host it (same as in cs2). Love your vids when you're normal and semi acustic 😉

What about optimisation? I used to play CS:GO but it's gone now. CS2 for me is barely playable. (I have GTX 1050Ti) I really don't see any point in updating grafics and adding all of the effects if it eats so much perfomance.(the only exception is smokes)
This is Valve, I doubt any of it will come knowing how they treat TF2,
The anti cheat is a difficult topic. No current anticheat is perfect, even valorants or faceits. What valve is (hopefully) working on is deep learning anticheat called vacnet that notices inhuman behavior and bans people because of how they play and not because it detects a cheat softwear. An aimbot looks pretty much the same no matter how its coded. So if vacnet would actually work reliably it would be a near perfect anticheat. Any other anticheat is just an armsrace between game developer and cheat developer
yea well no shit that there isnt a perfect anticheat, the problem is that VALVe doesnt even give a fuck to make the anti-cheat even slightly better. atleast FACEIT's and Valo's anticheat can actually catch cheaters but because they cant catch SOME of the cheaters isn't a good defense for CS2's anticheat.
@@skraxel ur right the lack of a proper anticheat right now is really bad. But i hope that valve put all their effort in vacnet because if they perfect it it would be a far superior anticheat than anything on the market
I don't know if valve is cooking something great for the next season of premier for example or are becoming like mojang that work 5 minutes a week and celebrate after they added a new block no one cares about.
Left/right hand thing has problems with shadows and player models now, not only valve has to add it to your screen but also to a general view of your model. And it's way harder, then just changin players POV.

Not really. For example, the weapon inspect animation is still only visible in first person, so the shadow doesn't move at all.
