Penukonda Fort- A perfect road trip destination for Bangaloreans | Weekend getaway from Bengaluru

Penukonda fort, situated in Andra Pradesh,a state of India, was once served as the second capital of Vijayanagar Kingdom. Recently, through reels and shorts, this place had became famous for bike ride. The hairpin turns on the roads made it so perfect weekend getaway spot for Bangaloreans.
Penukonda Fort situated at around 140 kms from Bangalore. We started at 5 in the morning. The location showed in the map took us to a town by 7. Realising that we reached at a wrong location, we started searching Google for actual location.
Once we got the actual location, we had re-started our journey. From the Penukonda town, the top point was at around 7 kms. We rode through the hair pin turns and reached the top. The view was good.
Even though we had expected much more, we were happy that we had a nice road trip for the day.
Tips:
Carry food with you if you want to eat something. You will not find any restaurants on the spot or on the way to the spot.
