I think the Anarstarzia Rockaway puffer and Utica's sleeping bag are tied as the biggest robberies of any design challenges across all seasons and int'l combined. Also both (especially Utica's) would be easily in the top of ALL work room designs made by a queen over all franchises and US versions of the show. Periodt.
I think the reason why most people, don’t like the fact that Jorgeous won is, because other queens have been read to filth for making a Bra, Panty and Piece of Fabric combo, yet she was praised and given the win, for a look that would’ve landed someone else in the bottom two, so I personally feel like she should’ve been safe for her presentation, but not any higher as it’s a basic look that anyone could make.
I think Sharonne's talent performance in DR Espana 2 may have been misinterpreted by those unfamiliar with the work of jazz legends Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald. She used that puppet because she was doing a vocal impersonation of Armstrong (who was also a genius trumpet player-- hence why the puppet is holding a trumpet!) while performing the song "Summertime". Armstrong co-wrote and co-performed the original version of Summertime with Fitzgerald... whom Sharonne also impersonated. Sharonne won because she did an impersonation -- with unbelievable accuracy -- of a duet with two different singers in one performance, and she did it LIVE
I think the AS2-AS4 format has always been more interesting than the Assassin format... maybe there should be a 3 episode buffer at the beginning of an All-Stars season where no one goes home... but I love the drama of a shock Elimination... there's a great tension with those seasons... Tatianna being robbed twice made her more legendary... Dela sending herself home was iconic... Manila getting the chop made her the ultimate robbed queen...
Problem is when the top 2 both would send the biggest competition home. No chance. And near the end they always went with "if you are not the top all star of this week" you are up for elimination bullshit.
Gia not winning the talent show and not even placing top still hurts my soul. I was mesmerized and i'm not a fan of Gia at all. That was the turning point of absolute riggory for me. I've known the judging is all bullshit ever since. Mamma cannot suspend my disbelief no mo.
The part that confuses me is that Gia would have fit the pattern of having a low placing or "early seasons" queen win the first challenge, something they have done since AS2, with AS4 being the only time they didn't do it. It would have been fine with Gia and Trinity or Mo'Heart and Gia, and because they didn't go that route, we end up with Monique and Trinity lip syncing together twice. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but it would have added variety to the lip syncs, since that format tends to repeat pairs of queens frequently. It was just a missed opportunity, and I think it would have increased the tension with Farrah Moan, having Gia's win hang over their comments (and then Gia naturally getting her comeuppance in the third episode).
I definitely think that, now on the RuPaul hosted seasons of Drag Race, the ball winner is being picked based on, the entire presented package of looks, that’s why Gottmik won season 13s ball, because the judges preferred their first two looks over Utica’s.
But if we're looking at the whole package, shouldn't the 3rd look matter still? Utica's 3rd look was the best runway out of all categories that night. Mik's last look wasn't even top worthy. Mik's 1st 2 looks were only 1 place above Utica's, while Utica's last look was like 5 places above Mik's
@@sylvereon Gigi’s part is the most replayed. And the judges did not know that Gigi can do a backflip as she is not a dancer, so that was a surprise factor. It was very unexpected of her as people only looked at her as a fashion skinny white young queen. She looks amazing in that too, even when she was just wearing a super bland outfit.

Like she was HOT!
There should definitely be a part 2! The one think is missing from the list is Manila as win in the QNN challenge in S3. That one was controversial in season and was a talking point for the rest of the season.

I remember Rupaul’s issue with Utica the entire episode was her not modeling on the runway correctly. Like she kept acting way too goofy. That plus Gottmik having very strong first two looks I think justifies her win of the whole episode…despite Utica’s amazing last look.
I feel like people don't really take into account that utica's other two looks weren't as strong so even if she killed it with the bag the other two brought her down

I can’t disagree with Gottmik winning because it was the ball challenge. Even if Utica had the best final look, Gottmik had the better overall package I also can’t say I disagree with Jan winning the halftime show. Her and TKB had the best performances of the week, had it been top 2 format? They would be Lipsyncing against each other, but it wasn’t. Between these 2? Jan had the better runway between them, it was the ruffle runway and Jan had that saloon runway. So I see why she won. Plus this was the Rusical of the season, so the storyline played out perfectly. The stars aligned. Not to downplay how good TKB did because she was nipping at the win so closely
The patron question creates two new brilliant videos tho - people who should have been saved/ shouldn't have won bcos of runways. And people who's performence in challenges should have excused their runways (made them win/loose)
People get too crazy about sethlas. She was amazing, but Sharonne gave the best vocals of all time on DR Herstory. And we can't forget that on espanha the runways DO matter a lot more, and sharonne was the best on that runway that night ❤

I would've included the Rajah vs. Scarlet lipsync on season 11. It was controversial during that time and still until this day. For a queen whose dancing skills isn't their strongest, she definitely surprised majority of the RPDR fandom and really showed she wanted to stay in the competition.
For All Stars 6 you say that Ginger Minj was in the top for the talent show and she wasn't she was safe, the top 3 of the talent show was Rajah O Hara, Pandra Boxx and Yara Sofia
honestly season 3 of españa is like half way done but there are so many examples of wrong people winning episodes: Pink Chadora for the choreo over Clover, Pink Chadora AGAIN over hornella in snatch game (which as a spanish person i think was so much funnier understanding the references), Pitita in the rusical over vania, bestiah or hornella…. Pitita over pakita in the acting challenge (more controversial i guess but pitita did have some justification to win but i do believe it should have been pakita)
As6. Ur wrong about the pink table talk. What about bosco, she won, despite her team was weak. And ginger won both snatch game and pink table Fair. And they were judged individually not as a team. This was proven in succesing all stars season like As8. No brainer.
One I'm really surprised didn't get mentioned at all is Bosco winning the drag con panel challenge over Deja. While I thought Bosco was funnier, Deja was a better moderator and was the only person on that whole runway who understood the assignment. Other "honorable mentions": Sasha Colby winning the interview over Luxx and Loosey, Lawrence winning the news improv over Awhora, and honestly Roxxxy's win in episode 1 of season 5 over Lineysha who still gets mentioned for having one of the best design looks of all time. Who even remembers what Roxxxy made?
I don't know why they always question Gigi at the ball, she presented 3 perfect looks for the category, Jaida in the first 2, they could literally enter many categories especially the second, and her final dress with what we know she can do is not not even good
One that wasn't mentioned is Soa de Muse in the talent show, France episode 1. Don't get me wrong, I love Soa and her talent show was amazing, but to me Lolita Banana had the best talent show of every franchise
question, the voting for fame games will be at the end, right? once we have a final X tops for the crown. otherwise, the people getting voted since lets say episode two, would have more votes than someone getting eliminated just before the finale.
Personally i think that during season 7 with the lip sync for your life between Pearl and Trixíe that Trixie was the clear winner and should have stayed over Pearl. Even if they wanted to keep Pearl for storyline purposes, then it should've been a double save!! All i remember is Pearl doing the Pearl smash thing with her arms!!!! It was hilarious!!!!
What people don't understand about the talent shows is that it is about entertainment. I was entertained by Trinity's and Gia's was not necessarily titillating. It was beautiful but just not as exciting as Trinity's in terms of getting a crowd going.
Drag sethlas has an amazing talent but it wasn’t even the best dancing performance of the night 😂 I think everyone needs to rewatch the entire show and put person bias aside.
Valentina should have won for Jury Justice but I feel like they were done with her storyline after episode 2. I didn’t think she was quite bad enough for bottom 2 for that snatch game either

I think the thing about runway winners is you can have access to great designers and have the money to pay for them but that does not give you taste. Honestly she was very pushed) - Jorgeous in the S14 design challenge (like WTF she shouldn’t have even been in the top that week riggory, should have been Lady Camden’s first win) - Jada Shada Hudson in the Canada 3 lip sync duets challenge (honestly like wtf, Kimmy and LBB both trumped Jada and Irma in the challenge) - Aura Mayari in the S15 girl groups (I mean Sasha Fucking Colby was right there) - Trinity the Tuck in the AS4 talent show (Trinity did… that for the talent show, honestly Gia and Mo should have won) - Sherry Pie in the S12 worlds worst (Ewww…. Jackie or Heidi should have won instead) - Yara Sofia in the AS6 talent show (Ra’Jah O’Hara was right there, also Yara just did tits for a talent show. If I wanted to see tits I would go to a strip club) - Rebecca Glasscock in the S1 makeover (Shannel should have won and Rebecca should have full on been lip syncing)

Tbh I 100% disagree that TKB should have won the half time challenge. Jan and TKB were the obvious best in the challenge and Jan just had the better runway that week. While TBKs runway wasn't bad by any means it was just a pagent gown. If you're going to say that there shouldn't be a runway winner because the winner should be the best in all aspects that week than you can't just look at the challenges and say someone should have won just for that

Looking at the still Camden's outfit, it does look messier than I remembered but regardless I think Angie should of took that win.

I can’t disagree with Gottmik winning because it was the ball challenge. Even if Utica had the best final look, Gottmik had the better overall package
I also can’t say I disagree with Jan winning the halftime show. Her and TKB had the best performances of the week, had it been top 2 format? They would be Lipsyncing against each other, but it wasn’t. Between these 2? Jan had the better runway between them, it was the ruffle runway and Jan had that saloon runway. So I see why she won. Plus this was the Rusical of the season, so the storyline played out perfectly. The stars aligned. Not to downplay how good TKB did because she was nipping at the win so closely
The patron question creates two new brilliant videos tho - people who should have been saved/ shouldn't have won bcos of runways. And people who's performence in challenges should have excused their runways (made them win/loose)

I would've included the Rajah vs. Scarlet lipsync on season 11. It was controversial during that time and still until this day. For a queen whose dancing skills isn't their strongest, she definitely surprised majority of the RPDR fandom and really showed she wanted to stay in the competition.

honestly season 3 of españa is like half way done but there are so many examples of wrong people winning episodes: Pink Chadora for the choreo over Clover, Pink Chadora AGAIN over hornella in snatch game (which as a spanish person i think was so much funnier understanding the references), Pitita in the rusical over vania, bestiah or hornella…. Pitita over pakita in the acting challenge (more controversial i guess but pitita did have some justification to win but i do believe it should have been pakita)

One I'm really surprised didn't get mentioned at all is Bosco winning the drag con panel challenge over Deja. While I thought Bosco was funnier, Deja was a better moderator and was the only person on that whole runway who understood the assignment.
Other "honorable mentions": Sasha Colby winning the interview over Luxx and Loosey, Lawrence winning the news improv over Awhora, and honestly Roxxxy's win in episode 1 of season 5 over Lineysha who still gets mentioned for having one of the best design looks of all time. Personally i think that during season 7 with the lip sync for your life between Pearl and Trixíe that Trixie was the clear winner and should have stayed over Pearl. Even if they wanted to keep Pearl for storyline purposes, then it should've been a double save!! All i remember is Pearl doing the Pearl smash thing with her arms!!!! It was hilarious!!!!

What people don't understand about the talent shows is that it is about entertainment. I was entertained by Trinity's and Gia's was not necessarily titillating. It was beautiful but just not as exciting as Trinity's in terms of getting a crowd going.

- Jada Shada Hudson in the Canada 3 lip sync duets challenge (honestly like wtf, Kimmy and LBB both trumped Jada and Irma in the challenge)
- Aura Mayari in the S15 girl groups (I mean Sasha Fucking Colby was right there)
- Trinity the Tuck in the AS4 talent show (Trinity did… that for the talent show, honestly Gia and Mo should have won)

I like idea that the top lip-syncs for the cash prize and the power to save one of the bottoms from elimination. The assassin has the group vote for whom to save. There’d be a bottom three with one save with the last two lip sync for their life.

Tbh I 100% disagree that TKB should have won the half time challenge. Jan and TKB were the obvious best in the challenge and Jan just had the better runway that week. While TBKs runway wasn't bad by any means it was just a pagent gown. If you're going to say that there shouldn't be a runway winner because the winner should be the best in all aspects that week than you can't just look at the challenges and say someone should have won just for that
