Maddy fits into the scene perfectly fine, looks like Cleetus abducted a librarian and she is so happy about that, the more recent videos with her in them show her enthusiasm and support for Garrett and Cleetus, and she is bright, bubbly and refreshing. Very cool that Cleetus has a nice one.

Cleetus probably could make himself be a lawyer but his soul couldn’t be as filled with joy. He seems to me to be just one of those people who are born for excitement and pushing the limits of vehicles, probably other things too but we only see the things that he makes go fast. I wanna here James story how he’s so good how you found him and when he’s gonna have a partner channel with you and go more in depth on the build for each of the cars. James tool box (ruby, Vic, toast, Leroy ect). It would be more revenue I bet 50%-60%of the watchers care about the in-depth builds and tips and tricks

Month of Freedom has kept me sane and level this month. I lost my home and everything I owned on May 10th to a fire. The first few days the only thing that I looked forward to were these videos. So thank you for this month.

FWIW, my dad ran a production company from the mid 90s up until he passed last year. He did everything end-to-end...just like you guys, from concept to execution, and doing all the distro afterwards to physical media. Doing daily videos and knowing how many angles you need, B roll to sift through, checking over your work over and over (and over) looking for edits, checking the feel clip to clip, making sure you assemble the timeline in a way that’s sensible without blowing the surprise, doing custom bumpers for projects, doing the graphics for each new clip, it all adds up. Hats off for putting such a solid production together for a whole month. Far from easy to do -right-, and it’s more than commendable.
He needs a break, it causes a lot of stress to upload every day. It affects you mentally over time and you start to not enjoy doing it. Seen it happen to a lot of youtubers then they just disappear for months

Mate, I'm just finishing my law school in 3 weeks - had to study due to spine injuries. Have an electrical trade, and played with cars since I was 16 (now 33), had my first Barra Ute in 2007. Been watching your channel all through law school and has been the thing that got me through as I can't work on cars anymore. You're a legend mate! Look forward to another 3 years!

I remember watching your first videos. I remember when you took your girlfriend car shopping, with your Mom and Dad. I remember because I was laying in a hospital bed recovering from an amputation of my left leg. I was just getting into RUclips and you put a huge smile on my face, when a smile, at the time was pretty hard to come by. I was building a 67 El Camino drag car at the time, so our common intrest kept me watching. I have been a regular at your site, since I have had 17+ ensuing surgeries. As time, and all my funds blew past me, I sold everything near and dear to me to keep up with my medical bills. I had to sell the car's engine to pay bills, which broke my heart since I built it myself. I sold everything but my 1/2 finished Elco. I see, in you, the love for racing. I see me, in you when you are racing Leroy, especially. I want you to know, you have helped keep my dream alive, that someday soon, I will be on the track again, doing it...for Cleetus...and Holley (I love that sweet dog).
Steve, I know that your having a tough go if it and I’m sure you have had many really bad days, and have wondered why all of this has happened to you. I’ve never been in your situation with the loss of a limb. I’m sure it must be mind numbing . I do know that if you put your trust in Jesus that you can get through all of this . I know that it must be heart breaking to lose your engine, but I’ve seen guys on RUclips that were double amputees that not only built their hot rod but raced it as well.Be encouraged and keep a positive outlook and don’t let go of you dream or the Elco. @@allanpolk2681 Thank you Allan. It is hard. I have never given up. I work as much as I can(I am currently studying CAD/CAM), but it seems no matter how hard I try I end up on the operating table. I think what makes all this extra difficult is that my younger years I was a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and lifted weights very regularly (even between operations). As a matter of fact, I worked my way through college as a Hollywood stuntman. I worked even after I lost my leg. I was nominated by the Academy of Motion Pictures for "Most Spectacular Sequence in Film." I was extremely charitable and helped some very big stars get the start. Did it come back around? No. But, to no avail with a total of 39 surgeries, two helicopter crashes, a chemotherapy overdose and chronic pain... I think I am cursed. I raced shifterkarts with one leg and one season won every race I entered except one and won two national events. Still, I lost everything(except my beloved El Camino). Right now, my heart aches.
This man is living the dream, he owns a race track 10 minutes away from his house and he has tons of sick cars and has an entire fan base built around cars. I love this channel

Great subject! And right toward the end I realized I should stop watching car videos and get back to a class I'm taking online so I can work from home. The car thing is super addictive; I've got several myself; and I spend a lot of time watching car vids, but it's cutting into my online class time and I'm up against a wall with regard to deadline. Sometimes I think about starting my own YT car channel, and that'll probably happen at some point because it just sounds like so much fun, but there are only 24 hrs in a day, so I think the one word you used in your video that really stood out for me was: *PRIORITIES*. That's ALWAYS what EVERYTHING is all about. Great story; it was really great hearing it. You're ticking all the check-boxes. You were going to succeed no matter what you chose to do, so I'm glad you chose to do what you love. You'll never regret it and no has to tell you what a ton of support you have. Month of Freedom has kept me sane and level this month. I lost my home and everything I owned on May 10th to a fire. The first few days the only thing that I looked forward to were these videos. So thank you for this month.

FWIW, my dad ran a production company from the mid 90s up until he passed last year. He did everything end-to-end...just like you guys, from concept to execution, and doing all the distro afterwards to physical media. Doing daily videos and knowing how many angles you need, B roll to sift through, checking over your work over and over (and over) looking for edits, checking the feel clip to clip, making sure you assemble the timeline in a way that’s sensible without blowing the surprise, doing custom bumpers for projects, doing the graphics for each new clip, it all adds up. Hats off for putting such a solid production together for a whole month. Far from easy to do -right-, and it’s more than commendable.

Mate, I'm just finishing my law school in 3 weeks - had to study due to spine injuries. Have an electrical trade, and played with cars since I was 16 (now 33), had my first Barra Ute in 2007. Been watching your channel all through law school and has been the thing that got me through as I can't work on cars anymore. You're a legend mate! Look forward to another 3 years!

This comment is SERIOUSLY underrated, this is an awesome idea!! A "Cleetus" Stig though, with full 'Merica fire suit / helmet / gloves! That fire suit would have various decals (eg Freedom Factory, etc). Keep her hidden for a few videos, and have a good laugh with it. If the lady is up for it, I think that would *really* work.

I remember watching your first videos. I remember when you took your girlfriend car shopping, with your Mom and Dad. I remember because I was laying in a hospital bed recovering from an amputation of my left leg. I was just getting into RUclips and you put a huge smile on my face, when a smile, at the time was pretty hard to come by. I was building a 67 El Camino drag car at the time, so our common intrest kept me watching. I have been a regular at your site, since I have had 17+ ensuing surgeries. As time, and all my funds blew past me, I sold everything near and dear to me to keep up with my medical bills. I had to sell the car's engine to pay bills, which broke my heart since I built it myself. I sold everything but my 1/2 finished Elco. I see, in you, the love for racing. I see me, in you when you are racing Leroy, especially. I want you to know, you have helped keep my dream alive, that someday soon, I will be on the track again, doing it...for Cleetus...and Holley (I love that sweet dog).

@@allanpolk2681 Thank you Allan. It is hard. I have never given up. I work as much as I can(I am currently studying CAD/CAM), but it seems no matter how hard I try I end up on the operating table. I think what makes all this extra difficult is that my younger years I was a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and lifted weights very regularly (even between operations). As a matter of fact, I worked my way through college as a Hollywood stuntman. I worked even after I lost my leg. I was nominated by the Academy of Motion Pictures for "Most Spectacular Sequence in Film." I was extremely charitable and helped some very big stars get the start. Did it come back around? No. But, to no avail with a total of 39 surgeries, two helicopter crashes, a chemotherapy overdose and chronic pain... I think I am cursed. I raced shifterkarts with one leg and one season won every race I entered except one and won two national events. Still, I lost everything(except my beloved El Camino). Right now, my heart aches.
This man is living the dream, he owns a race track 10 minutes away from his house and he has tons of sick cars and has an entire fan base built around cars. I love this channel

Great subject! And right toward the end I realized I should stop watching car videos and get back to a class I'm taking online so I can work from home. The car thing is super addictive; I've got several myself; and I spend a lot of time watching car vids, but it's cutting into my online class time and I'm up against a wall with regard to deadline. Sometimes I think about starting my own YT car channel, and that'll probably happen at some point because it just sounds like so much fun, but there are only 24 hrs in a day, so I think the one word you used in your video that really stood out for me was: *PRIORITIES*. That's ALWAYS what EVERYTHING is all about. Great story; it was really great hearing it. You're ticking all the check-boxes. You were going to succeed no matter what you chose to do, so I'm glad you chose to do what you love. You'll never regret it and no has to tell you what a ton of support you have. I still think there should be a 3rd channel. "Get the toolbox James" with in depth knowledge drops and the occasional brake clean flame or nitrous pop. Someone else came up with the idea, not trying to claim it.
I've floated the idea of an advice segment, "Dear James's Toolbox". Viewers send ?'s and he asks if you've tried more nitrous.
