James, you are one wizard of a mechanic! Being fully trained and certified myself it is absolutely amazing listening to you diagnose problems. You’re a legend brotha!
When you load the cars back onto the transporter at the end, make sure you put bags over the turbskis! Otherwise the wind passing through will spool them up but they wont have any lubrication running through them so can prematurely wear out the bearings
James is one hell of a driver. To be ripping down the track and still be able to monitor all the numbers combined with sound and feel, and be able to know if there is a problem.. he really knows ruby well.
Fardin M I agree somewhat. So long as the book you have isn’t some manifesto written by a skitso in the 20’s about how much they hate vagrants and such.

Dag, there’s so much more to drag racing than I had ever thought. The Roadkill guys and now Cleetr have really gotten me interested in this Motorsport.
B. W. Learn to fabricate, do diagnosis and repair cars and you can make a real nice living. My son is 32 a master tech in a chevy garage and makes six figures. I'm very proud of him and he loves what he does.
Paul Martin - You know, I’m past the point of needing a job as an auto technician, but there’s always been a part of me that wishes I’d had access to a technical education when I was growing up. I hope it’s changing, but the trades often get grouped as like what someone does if they can’t concentrate in high-school or couldn’t get into university. As if pursuing a trade was selling one’s self short. But the truth is that some people just find that they’re passionate about trade work, such as working on cars, or at least more interested in that than English Lit and this is perfectly fine. They aren’t pissing on their “dreams” or wasting their potential or whatever. As you say, trade work can be really lucrative and can even lead to a business of one’s own eventually. Furthermore, America needs tradesmen and certain companies will pay for the education their employees need, such as technical welding. So a job is lined up even before the schooling is over! How many Art History grads can say that? So anyway, I’m a huge advocate for more trade education to be available in public school systems and give the kids that want it an education in something they’re really into. Anyway, sorry for the long-winded comment, but it just struck me how cool all that is for your son. I’d love to develop my welding skills and put together a go-kart or something. If I could get to proper car-building in my life, I’d be thrilled.

As someone who lost everything I had, and ended up disabled, living with my parents because of a motorcycle Accident, I can't stand to see having no care for your belongings. I don't have much, but I take care of it. I'd never let money change that mindset though, unlike what it seems has happened here.
Cleeter: We did a compression test and it revealed?
*points camera at James for the answer*
James: Just gonna send it
😂😂😂😂
My favourite part😂😂
Texas speed probably has a spare sitting ready to be overnighted anyway lol, that motor has been beat on pretty hard for a while though so its due some love, James will bow out before he takes a chance of dry docking the oil pan.
@@connorharrison5865 my favorite part was the sunglasses at 16:54
The life that Cleetus gave these cars after they were written off is astounding.
Never thought of it that way. Very true. Two parts vettes and a truck that probably would have been someone's dirt oval track ride.
@@rhull3939 I mean the Dale Truck going abused as a dirt tracker would be much more genuine but I digress...
@@Snarf_Le_Wombat yeah true, but the body would be beat to shit. But hey, that's a pretty good look too.
Huge respect for James' knowledge, Ruby's in great hands.
at 17:40, James reads the logs, explains why Ruby's pass fell short, and makes compensation plans. jaw-dropping technical and analytical smarts to complement the years under the hood and a lift... a damn HillBilly Savant.
James, you are one wizard of a mechanic! Being fully trained and certified myself it is absolutely amazing listening to you diagnose problems. You’re a legend brotha!
The statement, "That's the song of my people!", as the leeroys brakes squeal gave me a hell of a chuckle!
While I'd have loved to see that dang giraffe cram himself into the Dale Truck all week, it's definitely a more Kevin-sized vehicle.
When you load the cars back onto the transporter at the end, make sure you put bags over the turbskis! Otherwise the wind passing through will spool them up but they wont have any lubrication running through them so can prematurely wear out the bearings
Knowing them, they probably won't have them on the cars long enough for that to matter.
Kevin’s the man!! Cool seeing him coming out of his shell.
I think Kevin would classify as a “driver driver”. 2nd pass in the truck and ran 9 hundredths off the dial in.
James is one hell of a driver. To be ripping down the track and still be able to monitor all the numbers combined with sound and feel, and be able to know if there is a problem.. he really knows ruby well.
“Pretty good in our book, but our book ain’t really THE book” 😂😂😂
It’s better to have A book than NO book 😂
Devon Galvin lmfaooo
Came here to say exactly this 🤣😂
That last comment about The book should go on a shirt lol 😂
Fardin M I agree somewhat. So long as the book you have isn’t some manifesto written by a skitso in the 20’s about how much they hate vagrants and such.
Props to James for watching his psi through each gear and having the knowledge to lift early. 👏🏽
WHO else would like to know a bit more about James and his back story, to be so knowledgeable and talented. Whats his education?
When the rig rolls in with Leroy, the truck and ruby is the best site you could ever see what a fleet with the one and only king cleet
I'm soo happy to see kevin.. he just genuinely fits into the channel so well like he has been here all along like James fit in.. please please keep him around and let's see more of him!! HELL YEAH BROTHR!
Dag, there’s so much more to drag racing than I had ever thought. The Roadkill guys and now Cleetr have really gotten me interested in this Motorsport.
Take a car to the track with some friends. You dont have to be fast and break shit to enjoy and respect the craft of drag racing.....but it helps lol
I didn’t understand drag racing, until I realised that the race starts when you pick your tools up.
I love how you now go to different tracks and check out their bleachers. Them some fine aluminum bleachers.
Dale Truck's exhaust note never gets old. Could listen to that every day.
Kevin so deserves the Dale Truck ride. He's got many hours into fine-tuning it and he's driving great.
29 minutes of the day where i can forget about everything
@16:55
Brent:"Has anybody seen my sunglasses?"
James: "uh yeah"
Who would guess the first track would be a no prep race...
😂😂😂😂👀👀
That track surface looks terrible
Gotta think it’s all the hard tired street cars tearing up the surface. Nothing is harder on a track surface than hard tires.
Well thats my home track so me running low 11 for a street car not bad I have soft tires so im not the problem lol let them bald eagles out
Yea I saw the track on 1320, and it is garbage. Very dangerous.
Brent is probably the most down to earth coolest guy to have around. The energy and optimism that the dude gives off is crazy. Feeling the excitement through the phone and im only 4 minutes in.
Just want you to know I sound stupid at home yelling “FIRE ME UP” and “YEEE YEEE” lmao
You're not the only one , brother ! Lmao
im glad you posted this.
I can relate to that, my dog pulls me down the street to the park on my skate board and EVERY TIME we get going I'm yelling YEE YEEE! i get it and its awesome
Well here in Argentina I do a lot of Yee Yee's while watching this lol
Same 😂😂😂😂😂
Nicolas T people in Argentina must lookin at you crazy 😂😂
19:50 - The quad fireballs on that 1-2 shift lol
Everybody at race week: Checking out cool cars
Old Cleeter: Checking out cool bleachers!! LOL
RIGHT!!!!!! i was thinking the same thing. hes jealous of the bleachers hahahah
Having Kev is one of the best things!! Badass seeing him rip the dale truck
so agree.. between him and James... really adds a lot to the channel
I don’t know what the deal is but for some reason I just absolutely love the sound of Leroy speeding down the track
pbrrrrrrrrop pop pop pop!!
The fire balls it throws at each shift is awesome!
@@nicholaswyant8217 19:50 😳
I have Leroy's 7 s pass as my ringtone.
Glad kevin and back as well as George, one of my favorite guys over at fasterproms, and keep up with the helmet cam shots, freaking loving it
Little did we know that George was going to leave fasterproms and join cleetus and them
James is F ing good he really knows his stuff hell yeah.
Dude. Brought a huge smile to my face seeing Brent run up like an excited golden retriever. What a guy.
It wouldn’t be a true pass in Leroy if something didn’t fly out of it 19:52
lol ikr I think someone comes out every pass... either a time slip. water bottle. 2 gallons of water... lol
I thought the same thing lmao
Yeah, it's not cool though. He managed one run without dropping crap on the track.
@@guhfluh haha! It's fine when your famous.. 🤙
@@WezleyB Exactly, but not... It shows a disrespect/disregard for others - both racers and track personnel. The water was an accident, but losing something from inside the car every single run isn't. I love the channel and content, but would like to see them be more conscientious of others out there having fun and risking their lives.
Brent's energy is so contagious, as soon as I see him I get a big smile on my face.
I love how no matter how good or bad a run James has he calmly gives a detailed description of the run be it the reason he lifted or why it felt like a great pass.
Shoutout to Kevin, Driving the Dale Truck with Ice in his veins!
Kevin looks like he could be sipping on a nice warm tea while he's driving the truck. So calm. Lol
Kevin needs to be racing with y’all more! He’s really entertaining! Only missing coop!
I know nothing of your profession. Little bits here and there and could get through at a push. But knowing nothing means nothing when you hear James speak, it really does become clear and easy to imagine. The ball joint issue for example... "" I now know stuff""..
Cheers guys, and for today, especially you James....
Soooooooo glad you listened to the fans, this is the best lineup of cars and drivers, and codrivers. Everybody is awesome, the cars, and truck are awesome. It's just all awesome. I wasn't that big of a fan of Ruby at first, but damn if James doesn't have me cheering like hell for her! That man knows his shit, and it's great to see how he's opened up. Can't wait to see all three drivers get the win!!!
Came to Winn” - jack stand jimmy
hell ya brother!
Man that Kevin can drive, even the burnout is proper !
Man. Such a great move Bringing Kevin in the Dale truck.
Brent has got to be one of, if not the most wholesome guy in racing. Freakin love that guys energy every race week!
George and Brent are my two favorite people in the videos. Always full of energy and just great people.
“I had a VW bug but it broke down so I bought a Lamborghini” 😂 uncle Chet is such a G 😂😂😂 💰
Somebody should make a carbon roof for Leroy, for these long drives. Come on composit community, step it up!
I was thinking the same thing, brother!
Cleetus likes the thrill of cheap diy cardboard roofs
@@TheHset its more entertaining 😂 every race week an hole new story for the roof 😂
That isn't in the spirit of the car. Leroy is a cardboard roof type of car and always will be.
He's already got cardboard fibre
15:28 Kevin looked like he was drinking a martini and listening to Bob Marley on that pass... easy peezy
His own race car "Soccer Mom" runs 6s. The Dale truck is Sunday drivin' by comparison.
19:50 - Some spicy flames!! Awesome 🔥🔥 🇹🇹 🔥🔥
*_4:30_*
I see Leroy still has the *"TURN INTERCOOLER ON!"*
😂 OGs remember when Cleetus would never turn it on
