Jimmy Carter was born in Georgia in 1924, married to Rosalynn Smith in 1946 and father to John, James, Donnel and Amy. After serving in our Navy, he was elected to our Senate in 1962; Governor of Georgia in 1970; and President of the United States in 1976. He won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2002 and selflessly built homes through his 90s. Just days ago, he became the first centenarian President of the United States.
