I have liked and commented! I continue to serve the stoned dungeoncast! Your loyal paladin bares good tidings milords, my expedition into the underdark went very well! I found a city of kuo-toa. Mad little things they were, but I managed to infiltrate their city and topple their authoritarian soceity! Many of them die not even try to take vengeance against me, though some unfortently were to far gone. The ones that hadn't yet fallen prey to madness I brought to a place in the underdark closer to the surface. While they may not be able to live in our glorious land of sunlight, they are close enough by that an eye can be kept on them, especially now that I have converted them to ways of knowledge and laughter! Not only shall you gain more power from your new worshippers, but these kua-toa broken free of their former homes bonds, can now begin to lead more righteous lives! As for these stone giants...I do not like them. While they are of course preferably to the uncaring fire giants, or the warmongering frost giants, I would still hope none live anywhere near the lands of knowledge and laughter. I recognise that different cultures will of course have different values, but I frankly find their view of the surface to be a dream moronic. No matter how different values are I cannot abide by them committing any wrong doings simply because they refuse to accept the surface is real! Their skills with stonework are respectable, but I deplore them for their views. For now though all is right in these lands, I await more knowledge and laughter, till next week milords! Thanks for another weekly fix boys, getting stoned with the stone big guys is almost as fun as getting high with a melding myconoid. Not much else to say, but before I go I just wanted to say I hope you two are doing all right with the lockdowns and what not going on. Oh and even though SQS is on hiatus and I'm not sure if they'll end up seeing this or not, I also hope Josh and special guest Jake are doing alright. The four of you stay safe ya hear? The gods of knowledge and laughter won't fall to this virus! And whatever josh and special guest jake are won't either, I'm still not sure wether they would be lesser deities, or saints, or something else in my head canon where the two of you are greater deities. Well whatever they are they still kick ass. Anyway jokes aside, stay safe and see you next week dudes. :)
Dusty Sledge where, I don't see the word disgust anywhere in my comment? The only mistake I see is the word did auto corrected to die early on in my comment.
Dusty Sledge ooooh. I thought you meant something in my original comment. No that was spelt how I meant to spell it, although for all I know I could have spelt it wrong. I was referencing an ancient sport. I don't remember much, but i saw it depicted and talked about in cartoons growing up. There was apparently this sport where athletes would throw a disc called a discus, and ancient Olympian athletes competed nude in their sports. So i combined that with the stone giants love of hurling boulders.
I really like the idea of a stone giant cult leader. Man, in general I like to change up the canon lore a bit in my settings, but the stone giant lore overall, even for normal giants that aren’t dreamwalkers, is really cool and I feel like it really subverts the general idea of what giants are like. I’m definitely implementing the stone giant stuff in my game.
Thanks to your videos, I've leaned enough to run satisfying campaigns as a new GM. I have plans to implement giants into my current campaign and my next one shot. Thank you for your work.
Just letting you know. If you need almost anything for dnd and these guys dont have it, you can try AJ Pickett he has an entire playlist that details the monster manual
Am I the only one who has the image of two bugbears throwing a stone giant through the air while said stone giant just keeps carving a rock, completely unbothered? Like "This is all just part of the dream... just part of the dream. Forget this dream, I gotta carve this rock!"
I’m wondering would a stone giant act out of the ordening on the surface since they really think the surface world is essentially a dream and nothing they do there matters
Picture a giant pulling a chromatic to the ground, as it begins to fly off. On a serious note, though: dragons invaded their world. On the other hand, there's got to be some (likely metallic) dragons that understand this mentality and agree with the (good) giants. I could see some giants and dragons being amicable to one another, and fairly diplomatic/polite/respectful.
Hey guys, nice vid. Can you give me credit for the post you took from my blog and posted on your Twitter account? You're not responding to my tweets. Warm Regards, Maggy.
Stone giants for 4/2020
Well played
The timing of this upload totally *rocks* my sock off
I'm just going to give up now and smoke some weed. I'll need to be stoned to deal with you two.
What? Cant handle our rocking puns sober?
Smoke too much, and you may start taking life for granite.
Dont throw stones without acknowledging your own puns first
I'm going to use Big Trash if I ever use stone giants in a campaign
Grande Garbage, Big Trash, and Huge Waste. The trio de failures
I imagine Stone Giants throw stones like the protags from JoJo Part 7.

Oh also, had a dumb idea for a stone giant npc.
Imagine a stone giant who throws stones in the nude like some Olympian discus thrower.
Dusty Sledge where, I don't see the word disgust anywhere in my comment? The only mistake I see is the word did auto corrected to die early on in my comment.
Dusty Sledge it's ok, you just had me rereading comment and had me thinking I was going crazy or something. lol.

A Stone Giant reads The *_Art_* Of War and suddenly we have a legion of giant warmongers.
Awesome video as always!
Yo, it's pretty lame that I wasn't the winner lol. Joking, I love that you do these, good job Andrew

I was just trying to find something on giants. Thank you this was perfect timeing and I got some awesome ideas
Just letting you know. If you need almost anything for dnd and these guys dont have it, you can try AJ Pickett he has an entire playlist that details the monster manual
Mrrhexx also has some really cool dnd videos.
@@DragonGunzDorian absolutely, he is also very entertaining but his videos are limited in topics, but what he has is very detailed and interesting
Also check out AJ Pickett. He has in depth lore and ecology videos on every creature in the Monster Manual and then some.
If the hands are holy I think I'm gonna make a stone giant paladin that smites with it's fists
Rocky talkies! XD
Rocky folks need fur to sit on. Nobody wants to sit rock on rock. That seats hard!!!
im currently creating a stone giant hearth genasis forge priest ^^, and i go in the world of dream for an initiation rite
17:58. Break Ends
Be safe thanks for the content!
Big Trash is definitely showing up in my next campaign.
Am I the only one who has the image of two bugbears throwing a stone giant through the air while said stone giant just keeps carving a rock, completely unbothered? Like "This is all just part of the dream... just part of the dream. Forget this dream, I gotta carve this rock!"
Way of the 4 elements (well 1 element) monks. Earth monk stone giant would be an awesome level 6ish boss.
I have many American Indian stories on stone giants. Love to share our stories on it.
Towards the end, iirc you're thinking of Mordenkainen's Magnificent Mansion.
I’m wondering would a stone giant act out of the ordening on the surface since they really think the surface world is essentially a dream and nothing they do there matters
If stone giants calcify when they die what would happen if one became undead?
I figure that either it wouldn't work or couldn't move.
Don't be like big trash
Stone giant radio
Stone giants the olny neutral giants strange
Not really. Think about it. Stone does not care one way or the other it just exists
Do zorns next
Really Stone Giants are artists? what?
Oh Definitely
Kinda weird these guys used to fight wars with dragons
Picture a giant pulling a chromatic to the ground, as it begins to fly off.
On a serious note, though: dragons invaded their world.

First
Never did that b4
Its your first first
