People don’t hate FH4/FH5 for not having micro-transactions, people like me hate it for holding back content and rereleasing it as “new content”. For example the Plymouth Barracuda, a car I love and hasn’t been seen since FM4, that shouldn’t take the place of a car we haven’t had in Forza. One car I know they’re going to do it to is the Shelby 1000, I already see them rereleasing it to us. Another thing, they don’t fix the bugs, FH5 & FH4 are both some of the glitchiest racing-games ever made. But, FH4 at the time of FH5’s release was a complete game, and how it should’ve been at launch. FH5 is catching up, but incredibly slowly.

I've been playing Forza since 2007 when I got it with my Xbox 360. I have tens of thousands of hours in the franchise. Horizon 5 has issues and I do truly wish some stuff was better, but the driving feels better than any other game on the market with a controller. Just plain and simple. No one can objectively say that Horizon 5 isn't the best feeling Forza game tbh. They improved the RWD grip and everything else is as sharp as ever, and honestly at the end of the day how a racing game feels when you are racing is the important thing to me. I play every week on Thursday when the seasons change for the weekly events and I probably won't stop anytime soon (barring a serious issue in life or something) 880 hours going strong on Horizon 5, and I MOSTLY love it. Forza is the only OG Xbox IP at this point that I still give a shit about. Halo and Gears could NEVER get another game and I wouldn't care at all, but if Forza stopped there would be a giant gap in my game time on Xbox for sure.
