I’m a boxer and a jiu jitsu guy but I was totally confused 😂😂😂😂
Sounds like Lucius from Arkham Knight
I'm so very confused what the title is supposed to mean.🤷♂️😅
Lex Luther vibes
Before I watched this video I thought you would have said boxing is a means to an end (kickboxing) or BJJ is a means to an end (MMA). But you say it's useful to do it alongside. I'd train in both my means and my end at the same time but wouldn't bother competing in my means once I 'graduate' from it to my end
My coach was a Mauy Thai champion wka champion and professional boxer
The very best Nak Muays, likes Samart, Veeraphol, Somrak also have successful pro boxing careers.
In my dojo when sparring for points the punches have low scoring value compared to kicks because of the difficulty
I mean he's kinda right. Hone every aspect of what you do so you can beat someone who just does that and you'll kick everyone's ass
Bro you would make a great narrator with your voice you have a radio voice/way of speaking.
He has a cool radio voice
Seems like bjj should be looked at pretty highly by mma guys because a lot of the best guys are very good at bjj and use it very well
Learning boxing before Muay Thai helped
Does being a good bjj guy make you a better MMA fighter?
Preach brother
The way you talk is crazy bro
Philosophy according to Ramsey…
Shouldn’t it be
“If boxing treated kickboxing the same way mma treats bjj”
No.
I did karate for about 4 years when i was younger and now I have been doing boxing for a while I do practice my karate time to time so I think I could be a good kickboxer to start off ?
try boxing with a karate stance
Thanks Blow Job Jr for explaining this.
Now im confused, please someone explain
How does bjj treat mma
Nailed it.
Hey Ramsey could my kickboxing get even better if i start training muay thai i already do sanda and dutch kickboxing but i feel that i should add muay thai into should I
And that's why rico verhoeven trains with fury 👍
Do motorcycle helmets decrease CTE in sparring more than regular headgear?
No.
@@RamseyDewey but it does protect you from eye gouges and the good old fashion Mongolian tongue stretcher. I was hit by a MTS in my mma debut and have since worn a full faced motorcycle helmet, as well as a steal bra to protect against the dreaded purple nurple during my bouts. I'm now looking into surgery to amputate both my legs to protect from heel hooks and knee bars. Ufc gold will be mine.
If it’s the Dutch style right which is like what most American or western kickboxing is I think ?? But as fun as it is hiding your cake behind punches there’s just something fun about elbows and knees but not the clinch I hate the clinch the shit terrifies me
Man I'd really like to go train in some of this stuff, just can't find the motivation or the confidence 😕
Is this what a word salad sounds like?
Nick Diaz said there's more money in boxing than kickboxing even though kickboxing is alot harder than boxing and I don't get it
People in the sport of boxing (kickboxing/MMA) train to win fights or at least to be able to fight within those rules. People who train BJJ, are just that. They are training to the limit of BJJ rules. The the question becomes, what are those rules geared for. Is it grappling only, or more inclusive of strikes?
Whats your fight record
I feel like the how you worded the title is worded wrong
Rico Verhoeven is the best heavyweight kickboxer right now and he probably has the best boxing out of any heavyweight kickboxer ever.
boxing is THE art just because hands are the most used weapon.... but it can't be trained by itself, you need to put other discipline but boxing is the most important to be strong in a complete martial way
Muay Thai guys have championed in boxing though
so boxing or kickboxing ser?
Don't understand the caption
I sincerely believe I'd listen to this man say anything...he could be speaking complete jibberish and I'd be captivated
Hahaha! Well, I have a few videos that aren’t complete gibberish that you might enjoy too!
Am I the only one that thot he was Dana white from the thumbnail
No. A fairly large number of humans cannot tell the difference between bald people. Not a joke.
A boxer Who only know box can never stand against a real fighter with all my respect to boxers
What’s a “real fighter” ?
@@Kaikai349 for me...who master everything is a fighter... grappling boxing kicking
@@anas....1795 No such thing as master of everything
