I think you should have mentioned the seating. I had a xp1k with prp seats and now a pro xp with stock seats. The xp1k, turbo s sits like a truck. Nothing wrong with it and the new pro xp, turbo r sit more like a sports car/can am. I like both for a given situation rock crawling I’d pick the turbo s. Flying down trails or forest roads I’d pick the turbo r.
You’re right... I forgot to include that part. Thanks for mentioning it and giving your feedback. Hopefully people read this comment. It just hit me I also forgot to mention the leg room for the driver. I noticed the driver has a little more leg room in the Turbo R compared to the Turbo S. If I think of more things, I’ll do a follow up video about the additional differences. Thanks for watching.
well, you will have a great machine. Ours is still running great after 4 solid years. The only thing you might need to do if the machine already doesn't have it, is adjust the springs. The link below shows what we did to ours. ruclips.net/video/aB-NvWyN_eE/видео.html
This will be my first side by side , local dealer has a new turbo s for $29,000 and another dealer has the turbo r for 33,000 coming in March . Being my first machine any recommendations?
Either one would be a great machine to own. If you want the newest technology and are okay with the price difference then I would go with the Turbo R. If technology isn’t a concern and you like the look of the Turbo S... then it would be a great machine for you. Either way those 2 machines are the ones I would suggest.
Please keep in mind, in you are new to driving a RZR turbo X or anything alike off-road, please for the love of your safety, please educate yourself on how to drive one of these impressive vehicles, all too often I see someone get over zealous driving thinking they are invincible as these machines are capable of doing so much then they flip or roll it. It’s Easy to roll the car if you don’t have experience.
i agree with that statement. The newer machines make it even worst because they are so good at what they can do. New riders to the hobby definitely have to ease into the sport.
We haven’t priced them new in the current market but we’ve seen customers have a hard time even finding new. So your winning getting yourself a new one. Congrats on the Turbo S.

Yes learn to drive one it’s not like driving a car, they are powerful and easy to flip if you don’t know your stuff.
I personally have a turbo s and I absolutely love it, granite I’ve never owned a turbo r but the turbo s is a great machine!
