We bought the 2022 RZR Turbo R 4 Ultimate. We had a 2019 RZR Turbo S XP4 before it. I will say, the Fox 3.0’s all around on our Turbo 4 Ultimate, with Dynamix, and the complete rideshare screen, is 100% worth the upgrade in model over the base model you have. All of this alone would be well over $12k if you bought it all aftermarket. Also, having the built in speakers from the factory, installed in really good out of the way locations, is just another benefit of getting the Ultimate.
Great machines for sure. Happy to hear you’re happy with it. The value all depends on how you’re using the machine - and yes, if you’re considering adding those OEM options anyway, it absolutely makes sense to buy them as a package
Great content. I love my Turbo R 4 Ultimate. The extra for the Dynamix DV is worth the extra coin IMO, since you get the compression and rebound electronically controlled plus you get the Ride Command. However, it is great to see you liking the sport model for those interested in the base model. Do you recommend a tune for the Turbo R? If so, whose?
Nice rig I would be stoked. My dealer texted me and told me it's going to be a 2023 pro r so will see. The turbo R's are nice I like the gray and lime green.
I love the solid reviews and the honesty. Are you still waiting far a speed utv? I would like you guys to review one of them when they make it to customers.
Heard the same,October ,fingers crossed. I am #2042. Lets hope so,people who have gotten rides are amazed, we will see...keep up the good work, hoping to bring the family to your neck of the woods when it comes in.
How do the stock wheels hold up vs. bead locks with those rockzillas ? And what psi are you running ? Appreciate the great video and your time making them !
@neriseatsales on Instagram sells them. I have the ones with the steel base brackets so I can bolt them in instead of sitting on top of my adult seat. You’ll need the rear seat adapters from PRP if you want to bolt them in. Message me on IG @sandhollow.UTV if you have questions or need photos
Love your videos guys. I’m ordering a turbo R and I want to replace the stock cage. I live in Utah as well and have been looking at voodoo. The concern I have is we are all in my family. How tall are you guys and is there still enough head room in the back seat?
We are all 6’4” and up. If I have the cage customized by voodoo to fit taker people in the back do you think it would still look good? I love how the off camber roof extends down the back. Do you guys have any experience with Pro Armor cages? If you do what is your opinion?
My brother has a 2018 turbo XP with 168hp..I bought a 2022 pro xp... In a drag race on dirt, we are side by side till about 40 mph...then my pro xp pulls away...
The power to weight in the Canam RR is impressive. The clutching and beefiness of the KRX Is amazing for technical stuff, but i think this is a good middle ground - do it all option. -Royce
I was looking for one of these Turbo Rs and was willing to pay full msrp plus freight, destination, tax, etc...would have been over 40k for the ultimate. I couldn't find anyone to sell to me at full price, every dealer tried to tack on 5k-7k in imaginary fees. I don't care if I can afford it or not, I'm not going allow myself to be ripped off. Its the same reason i didn't buy a Ram TRX. I was willing to pay the 95k (sticker + tax) , but im not paying a 30k markup. I ended up buying a 2021 Turbo S from a private seller and paying cash. I like the car, but there are some features in the new ones that I really wish mine had since I have kids. The stadium seating, more interior space, and telescoping steering wheel would have been a huge help for my wife and kids when they drive. I'll probably drive the turbo S for a season and wait for some lightly used Pro Rs to start popping up, then try to pick one up with low miles and lots of upgrades. I bought a stock turbo S because I thought if it was all tricked out with upgrades, its probably more beat up, but now after spending thousands in upgrades, im going to try to get a finished Pro R next time. It gets really expensive starting with a stock machine. Its very easy to blow 10k and still not be finished
The $7500 increase from the sport model to ultimate incorporates a lot more than the suspension. In addition to the dynamics, you get Rude command, Rockford fosgate system Tilt/telescoping steering wheel with radio/ride command buttons Various accent lighting in rear, front and interior The ride command itself is over $2k to install for the head unit and kit. The speaker system is around $3k. I've always installed the rude gonna mysekf on previous models but once I added everything up, it was cheaper to buy the package from the Factory. I was going to get the same model as you, until I started pricing everything out. I went with the ultimate model. Now if you don't care about the ride command and stereo system then I agree the upgrade may not be worth it . Other than that, good vid and info
Thanks dude. And yes, I’ve had several ride command and non ride command units. The shocks are valuable to me, but the other stuff… not as much. Rather go aftermarket. Just a personal preference. I’m much the same way with trucks.. usually stick around a mid-trim and then add a couple things I like Thanks for watching -Royce
I live in a small town in NM. The back of the town is just beautiful desert. Can shoot/ off-road do whatever. I need one of these BAD!!!!
Ya you do!
Just got the turbo R last week can’t wait to take it out. Great video!

Love to hear they lowered the low gear! Didn’t know that. Helpful vid guys
It’s perfect for 35s!
Awesome, can’t wait to see it finished!
Parts are slow going these days but it’s coming along!
Great review. 6:56 the guy in the background is having a bad day 😂
Haha we didn’t even notice. If you sit in that parking lot long enough, you see some iffy situations!
He didn’t put down the trailer jack to park and it was probably burning hot 😂
LOL at 6:54 dude on the left of the screen dropping his trailer
☠️☠️
That's a nice ride guys. Kinda makin me wana take a second look at this machine.
Thanks man. It’s a solid option

Yes the DV is very nice. I think I’ll do the Bikeman kit if I do any performance

Ya the new colors are nice

Non beadlocks work great… until they don’t! Haha. I’ll for sure be putting beadlocks on soon, just been waiting for a certain one to be released
Hey what kids seat do you have in back? Do you like it and would you get it again? Deciding on a couple for my machine atm.

@@OffCamberInd Thanks!
Good video guys.
Thanks John
how bad did the 35s hurt acceleration?
@@jeremyschott2506 not terrible but you can feel it
@OffCamberInd thanks! 35s hurt my 2024 xp1k so it's for sale and about to pick up a turbo r or pro s

Hey Brian, I’m 5’11”. I wouldn’t have anyone taller than me ride in back seats on aggressive trails, but it’s perfect for my wife or kids in the back.

Did you add the drt hood scoop? Or is it something different?
Yes, DRT 🤘🏼
Nice video!! Wonder how the guy foot is doing at 6:55 in the back
😂 guessing not good
SSS website doesn’t have those stand alone sliders, where can i get them?
I’d email orders@sssoffroad.com and tell them I sent you. They’re a brand new product

Yes excellent content good info thank you guys
35s stock suspension?
Yes. Fit fine on the Turbo R (but won’t on a Pro xp)
@OffCamberInd was thinking of getting a ProXp on 4" portals but may just go with a ProR if they clear 35s...
Turbo R or Pro R Is gonna ride a lot better and have stronger parts
@OffCamberInd yea don't think I want 4cyl though, my buddy Mike was running out of fuel in Colorado way before us 😆
Dang just picked up my turbo r 4 ultimate in july 23 and the radius rods on mine are beefed up and high clearance compared to them.
Ultimate comes with clearance, sport has straight. I went with Zbroz aftermarket high clearance billet
@OffCamberInd gotcha didnt even know there was a difference between them part wise like that
Sweet
Thanks man
Where did you get your roof, I have a turbo r 4 seater and I am having trouble finding one.
The roof is custom, along with the roll cage. It’s our own design
Any plans of ball joint upgrade seams like there’s been some issues of failures but maybe that’s just in the pro r
Theyve got the same front end, so I’ll be looking to upgrade
Great review!
Thanks! We will keep everyone posted as we add and test more parts
Turbo R or the KRX 4 for rock crawling??
Rocks only? Prob KRX
You guys should do a pro r vs turbo r
Can-do 🤘🏼
Is that vinyl boat decking material on the trunk lid?
Ya, had a little leftover from the roof so got cute with it 😂
Hey man, what make windsheild is that?
It was custom made with the cage from www.voodoorr.com
where can I get a trunk like that?
DRT Motorsports
Another thing you should mention is price. I paid 37k for a Turbo S4, and the Turbo R4 out the door is over 47k.
Since these replaced the Turbo S, this is likely what the S would have been with inflation, If they still existed - unfortunately
@@OffCamberInd True, I still love my Turbo S. Glad I bought it before it went extinct.

At 7:00 mins a guy in the back drops a trailer on his foot
☠️☠️☠️ we didn’t even notice that day
Are those factory wheels?
Yes
Thank you. I’ve got a new pro R, didn’t realize it was a different style. Those are honestly better looking.
@@ronyates7420 the Pro R sport comes with this option. I agree.. not bad looking for a stock wheel
Let’s race!
😎
Wait about a month and you’ll be toast
Do 35’s rub at all ?
No sir
@@OffCamberInd thank you
Who else saw the guy in the background drop the trailer tongue on his foot at 6:55.
💀💀

Maybe we will grab a rental and see what it’ll do 😈
