Hi, I got the original file from the Ordnance Survey as a .gz file (A compressed GML file). I imported this then exported as a .shp file. You can purchase the data in shp format from a number of vendors. Note: I'm based in the UK. If you want to see more on AutoCAD Map 3D or Civil 3D with Mapping data then I have just posted another event I did. Here is the link: ruclips.net/video/R0QmsJCfPKI/видео.html. This video shows me importing the data and exporting the data plus some jiggery pockery to create 3D buildings.

If you are talking about the Setting the Coordinates, type MAPCSASSIGN into the command line.
