This cabin type prefab house is filled with all types of beautiful wood and gives somewhat of a rustic vibe! The manufacturer for this modular house is actually the Amish based out of North Ms. This home has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom and is a 24x40 size home with roughly 960 sqft. Land on average is $20k foundation underground plumbing underground electrical $15-25k and $40k for the building itself. On a high end $85,000 = No crazy mortgage. 😊
A simple life is soo appealing. Not that their lives are easy. But less junk to distract them from the important things in life.
There is a large Amish community in my hometown. BEST neighbors you will ever have! Their craftsmanship is that of none other.
That is what I keep hearing!
I have Amish and Mennonite they are awesome neighbors!
Some people think that the Amish are stuck in the past, but its more accurate to say they cherish a different life aesthetic. They value craftsmanship even in the areas you cannot see, they also tend towards basic time-proven designs and materials. They have adopted newer products as long as they uphold simple and durable and practical qualities. Window ac units get no love, but they are effective and durable - and from a practical standpoint a tired window ac unit can be replaced by anyone at a low cost that cannot be beat.
This is beautiful. And it mimics Amish homes with their big open family rooms - plenty of room for chairs for everyone. At this point in my older life, this is all I need or want :)

I really like it also but have one big problem with the only bathroom not having any storage at all. I'd love to see the outside materials somewhat mimick the interior & thoes 2 things would make a huge impact & really set this place off even more. Exterior lacks appeal to thoes with a extra eye for craftsmanship IMO.
I was going to say I didn't care for it, but then I saw the price and suddenly, I love it.
You have to appreciate the craftsmanship that they’ve put into this home.
Thus is exactly wat I did. Mines only 450 Sq ft but built by the Amish, and we're finishing the inside

No doubt about it, this home is built solid! I like the simplicity of it. It does have a cabin look about it on the inside. I like the hardware on the doors, closets, and cabinets.
OMG! A corgi!! My husband and I have 3 corgis so anytime I see another corgi, I get so excited❤. We're actually about to close on a new home from Clayton homes and we can't wait to see our corgis get to enjoy all the room they'll have.
I really like this home. I would want a island in the kitchen, bigger counter top in bathroom and the closet in spare room. Otherwise it's perfect for me and other retirees. Shout-out to the Amish for building this home and for sharing this beautiful home.
You can easily add an island as a movable piece with locking casters.
The Amish are too polite to say when they did not build something! Heavens!
Chance?? This is a very different looking home!! It had a feeling of a farmhouse and a modern cabin! Pretty Sturdy!! A Down Home Kind Of Feel!! All The Rooms Are Spacious!! Just A Old Fashioned Way To Live!! Thank You for sharing this with your viewers!!
For the craftsmanship, and the beauty of the wood, you would think this would be much more expensive! Very reasonable!❤
I would never call this a shed to house--very well built home. Nice cabin feel for a lake house.
It would make a great vacation cabin. Needs a countertop instead of a pedestal sink. Pedestal sinks are for half baths.
I like this a lot but no too the pedestal sink and I think I'd want an a/c on the other side of the house too. Maybe a wood burning fireplace or stove.

The price is awesome. Paint it white on the inside and make it look farmhouse style. Put a small back porch on the back. A big shed for storage. It could really work.

I absolutely really love the layout of this place. I would definitely would want to live in a place like this. It's absolutely gorgeous. I really love the openness of the living and kitchen area. I also love the interior of this place place. ❤❤❤❤❤

The house/cabin is beautiful at a reasonable price! I would just add another bathroom. But with that price it would be easy and I love the idea of the air conditioner in the wall that makes so much sense
On the outside this reminds me of an old fashioned built home Chance.
All wood with alot of potential on the inside. I would be very happy here and I would feel like I was in Heaven!!!
The outside?? It’s medal siding. The same stuff used for roofing. The inside is more “old fashioned” to me.

That house is "AWSOME"! THIS GOT MY ATTENTION!
Very nice, it looks well built. The only negative I see is the placement of the breaker box and the window unit.
Put in a mini split for air
You can cover the breaker box with a picture or piece of art.
That is all I would need. I grew up in a 800 square foot home, and one wall air conditioner cooled the whole thing just fine. Of course, I wasn't in the South either.

This is very nice! I like seeing these “out of the box” solutions to housing.
Don’t understand why the ceiling fan is not centered. And needs a vanity sink, not pedestal sink. Enough room for one. As it stand no room on the sink area for anything
the fan is centered over what would b the living room the back half would b the dinning room area
Maybe contact the manufacturer and let them know your suggestions
Really can't understand the fan what are you a ompa lompa I ain't wanting to get wacked In the head everytime I am near it.
That AC unit is very loud. Did they find the cheapest unit they could. Or wait maybe that is the bathroom fan as Change is almost yelling over the noise
Not everyone wants to clutter up the top of their sink. The only thing I have on my sink is a very nice soap dispenser. Clutter is ugly.

This is THE PERFECT HOME! Metal exterior and cedar interior means no termites or carpenter ants or moths!!! I'd throw my wood stove in it and be good to go. And at $40,000 and not made like a factory built home, but by the Amish, you are getting so much more for your dollar. I'd much rather have this home than anything else I see on the market!❤

Chance I like to see double front doors in the center of house and a porch all the way cross the front other than that I thought it was GREAT . I would have liked the ceiling fan centered .

Absolutely beautiful wood in this home. I love how they contrast with the trim. The only thing I don't like is the 1 bathroom. At least have 1 1/2 baths.
Did I miss something? I don't remember seeing a furnace. Outside of the south, you need heat in the winter.

Thanks for video me and my wife just bought some land and we have been considering doing something like these and i found 2 really nice sheeds for a real good price i was trying to find somebody that had done it and whst it would look like and my dad is really good frends with a few good omish carpenter's there really good carpenter's i am really considering it now wow thats really nice
