  • After Carlos Sainz's triumphant return in Australia, the Formula 1 teams now head north to the iconic Suzuka Circuit for the Japanese Grand Prix. This year's race comes earlier in the season, promising cooler temperatures and a different dynamic to the challenge of Suzuka, but with tyre graining a potential problem, can Ferrari capitalise on their recent success and put further pressure on Red Bull's dominance? Bryn Lucas is joined by Filip Cleeren, Sam Hall and Jake Boxall-Legge as we preview the Japanese Grand Prix.

    Who is really shocked. Ferrari has been competitive as long as they can stay on the track and finish the race. Verstappen out due to a mechanical is the real shocker!

    Bonkers having a race at Suzuka in early April, It's obviously going to be raining and the race may even be cancelled due to bad weather and failing light conditions.

    Old horses have to give way to the new breed. Holding onto their worn out reins isn't helping the younger generation of F1 drivers who keep staring at data screens while old guards continue dragging pirellis.

    Stop being biased towards Lulu midfieldton as well, you aren't supposed to be kisding his butt.
    Suzuka online is a sweet track and if you have "smashed" it then you know that if yougo into turn 1 fast then its all sussed through the rest of sector 1

      It's been three years since we last saw anything special from Daniel and four since we saw that on a consistent basis. He's used up the good will of fans and the media if he can't put in a good performance. At that point why are you even there, may as well give a promising youngster a chance to develop and maybe become something notable.

      For a lot of long-term fans, there's a Danny fatigue that has set in. My social media feed and news feed is nothing but stories about Danny. Actually it's been that way for several years, even when he was on sabbatical. Danny has gotten more press for less accomplishments than anybody I can remember. Honestly, at this point I wish he would just go away to IndyCar or something

    • @tak8261
      @tak8261 2 месяца назад +1

      If anything I think the media and fans have been really generous to Daniel. If this were any other driver having 3-4 seasons of mediocre performance and getting beat by their team mate convincingly, they would be facing way more criticism and most likely permanently losing their seat. Daniel should feel lucky he still has a seat and still has a chance to redeem himself, he just needs to put together a few really strong races and people will quickly back off.

    Very illogical opinion dude. DR unfortunate over track limit or else similar to Yuki’s time. Have you calculated how much time he saved by going over the limit? Everyone will be faster if they go over the track limit.

    • @tak8261
      @tak8261 2 месяца назад

      That's not even the point, some people talk about it as if Danny was "unlucky" for violating track limits when in reality it's completely his fault. And it's not just about how much time Daniel gained (or didn't gain) from exceeding track limits, it's actually more about how much time the other driver's lost to ensure they don't exceed track limits (therefore need to be more careful/conservative in their driving)

      Can't wait for Lewis's first time hearing " we will check"
      Brits might find excuses for LH if he doesn't perform, the Tifosie have no such qualms. It will be interesting to see because for all intents and purposes, Hamilton was the Enemy for years.

    • @tak8261
      @tak8261 2 месяца назад +1

      You can't really compare Daniel's situation with Lewis's. Lewis has had a horrible start to 2024 but he did perfectly well in previous years so it really is "just 3 races". In the case of Daniel, people are criticizing his performance based on the races since his return in 2023 so its over 10 races now, AND add on the fact that he had 2 really bad full seasons on the McLaren, people are making judgements based on what we have seen in the past 3-4 years. If this were any other driver having essentially 3-4 mediocre seasons, they would be getting even more criticism and would have lost their seat much sooner.
      Not saying there isn't favoritism for Lewis, but just saying, these are two very different situations.

    • @MarkMateljan-kc8ip
      @MarkMateljan-kc8ip 2 месяца назад

      Every pundit out there is making judgemental calls on drivers based on the performance of the car they are driving, so, if you look it from that perspective there's 10 drivers should all be sacked....... reverse the drivers and cars and you would all be slating, Saints, LeClerk, Norris, vestappen, checo, Russell Hamilton , piastre alonso....... you are making statements based on your own bias points of view toward each driver.
