I love Paul's playing. If I am not in the mood for practicing I just watch one of his videos and by the end I'm at the piano, inspired.

Suomen poika U know this for a fact? U have 2 hands and a brain right? 🤔
Suomen poika if you really love piano, no matter how many years will have passed, someday you will play

Hi
@Suomen poika if you save money, it will take less than a year before you can buy a good digital piano, and all you need to at least start learning piano is internet. So if you want to play, do it !
I’m currently learning this piece and this is by far the best recording I’ve used for reference when practicing. It’s sounds so calming and beautiful on the Feurich, definitely one of my favorite interpretation.
Ouça askenazy
This is my favorite Valse by Chopin. Thanks for the beautiful performance
thats great, i like the op 69 no1, but this one is also beautiful
Mmh... Listen to the waltz in A minor B150. Paul played it and I love it
A piece with a very special feeling and deep exceptional. A magic and tragedi song. Sad, nostalgic, dreams, hope.
Thank you for the beautuful performance. This is very calming. I appreciate the fact that you took the time to upload for us.
Mr. Barton, your interpretations (Chopin and Schubert especially) are the best i've ever heard. Thanks to your vids, I have learned and enjoyed much more playing piano. Greetings from Chile.
Arthur rubinstein, now he's the best not only to me but most of classical pianists.
Love from Minnesota 🇺🇸❤️!
Ashkenazy's rendition of this particular piece is better IMO
Timlessly beautiful, incredible interpretation, very thoughtful without becoming too condensed or limited, remained bouyant throughout. Dreamy, heartbreaking, lovely.
Certainly the best interpretation of this masterpiece today. It's too often played much too fast !
This is delightful. I close my eyes and feel like I am light as a bird, floating on the dance floor, dancing walz on a sunny day. ❤
The rubatos are so perfectly executed and tone heavenly
How wonderful.... The last song in the film "L'amant" by Marguerite Duras.... I cried so much.....
Beautiful. Watching you play Paul is relaxing & exhilarating, like watching a ballet or two people dancing in beautiful unison. Just lovely. 🥰
Thank you, Paul, I love listening to Chopin
Bravissimo, SPETTACOLARE performanca. Magnifica interpretazione. Congratulazioni.
Perfect tempo and dynamics.
Hmm. I did like it, but a little faster might be good.
Ezra Bernstein :: There are like a million fast covers. I like the slow one, personally.
@@ezra6094 that's actually not so slow tbh
I’d never heard this Chopin piece so this is the third time in a row. Heartbreakingly lovely! Thank you so much!
That was euphonious! Very beautifully played 😍
I am playing this piece and you help me learn it
A moving, truly expressive rendition, Paul. Thanks for sharing it, indeed!😉
this was so well performed even my ventilator turned itself off
😄
Such a wonderful performance.
I play this valse since years ago, but I’ve never heard such beatiful performance like the one you did in this video. Thanks!
Bravo, Paul! Nice to hear you revisit these works on the Feurich. I enjoyed this rendition.
Thank you very much! I wish you the best!
every time someone had a question or a request you do your best to reply! that is why you are a true artist and a teacher!
I play this Music and love Chopin. I have learned from Paul for the next 10 years :)
You play piano?
I was learning this piece and playing at my piano then I saw this video and when I listened to it, I realized calming and pleasant he plays, but when I play it it looks like I'm playing an angry Rachmaninoff piece not Chopin :DDD
I am learning this piece of music too :'D
rimsky korsakow
same here :D
@@avplays8004 So am I!
What a magnificent piece by Chopin!
Excellent performance ! I’ve been learning this piece myself
Very nice performance! It brings back memories of my childhood when my dad used to play this on our grand piano we had in our livingroom. I've already asked this on another video, but could you do the moonlight sonata's third movement? You've done the first, but not the second or the third. Thanks again for a wonderful performance!
I'm learning this now and keep coming back to this video to hear this. Thanks!
How little does he move his hands! There I was, thinking I had to always go in arches...
Beautiful!
Felicitaciones!
i'm never disappointed by your videos wow
❤❤❤ amazingly preformed❤❤❤
I am also currently trying to learn this piece and its really good on how smooth he plays
Fantastic Musician. Love your Style.
Interesting fingering you chose to use. Love to see how other people navigate their way across the keys. I personally don’t play some of the B major section notes as staccato as you did even though I like it better that way. My teacher drilled it in to me that they shouldn’t be played that way (even though some sheet music have staccato notes written) anyway, really like how you played it :)
Yay I was watching your old video of this from like 5 years ago yesterday. Sounds amazing.
Paul! That was splendid!
I am so glad that you played this piece, its my personal favourite right up there with the ballade no1. Great playing like always. Bravo!
Thank you so much mr Barton ! you have contributed so much in me playing this piece myself.
Thank you for your amazing playing of this beautiful Chopin waltz, I think it is one of his most beautiful; at one time I was trying to learn it.
You inspire me to want to study piano again and learn to play this piece.
Wow! Amazing performance, it got that calming effect.
Thank you
Mr. Barton, can you pleaseee re-record Chopin’s first ballade on the Feurich?? It would sound absolutely wonderful!
Glad someone else feels the same!! Hopefully he sees this
AceOfSpades rather see him do the other 3
123peeonyou Well for me it’s a close tie between the 1st and of course the beautiful 4th. The G minor will always hold a special place in my heart as that’s the first one I learned and I more musically adept at conveying that piece than most others
The sound of the piano is so satisfying.
Inspiring!
Thank you so much
Very beautifully played!!!
Im playing this, do u have insta?
Hi Paul. I really like how You play this piece. Can You show us how You use the sustain pedal in this vals?
I watch this in August 2018. Thanks Paul for the performance and the time you invest in each video. I'm learning piano and when I need a inspiration to play came here to watch your Chopin performance. Greetings from Colombia.
Pd: I need a teacher like you haha

I love playing this piece. I learned it at 10 years old and it was my teacher's favorite. You master it wonderfully its a delight to hear your interpretation.
Me too, at 10. And it stayed my favorite till now. Very emotional piece.

@@user-ry6ey8gq3t merci 😄
Paul, could you do a video on how to record your piano from that angle, please,? I´m struggling with that. Thanks, I love your performances, great as always!!
I'm learning this at my piano lessons and it looks rlly easy but hard to play😭😭😭
I know right!!!???
Costel Lupu yup
Whats your progress now?
Bro that’s easy this was my first peace I learned it in the first lesson.
Aw man I wrote piece wrong.
Yes
you are playing veeeeeery well!!!!!!Go on like that!
Bravo. I've been working on this piece on and off for about 5 years. I think I never got past the first page. There are some tricky parts and I get discouraged and depressed. I'll give it one more go.
You can do it!
My favorite Chopin waltz and not too hard to learn (I think). I will try it this winter.
I get sick of the fast-paced covers. I like the slow-paced one far more. Thank you!
Greatest piece on RUclips
Hello there,
Please correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe that you played a wrong note in measure 14. It should be D.
But other than that, great playing! It really feels like I’m in a ballroom waltzing...
I could listen to this over and over and over. This Waltz and Op.64 N.2 are his most beautiful in my opinion.
I played piano from 6-16 where it unfortunately stopped.... one of my biggest regrets!
I’m now 36 and bought my first piano last year to start playing again. Only a Kawai CS11 but it sounds and plays beautifully. I enjoy escaping and playing of an evening.... I just wish I could play like you!
P
Love it. one of my favorite waltz. I played on my exam.
So nice! Thank you! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Just started learning it, picked at it for about a week and now ready to dive into it! Sounds relatively simple, but seems like a pretty big challenge after just finishing Chopin’s waltz in a minor... we’ll see how things go 😆
P.s. great playing!!
How are doing now ? We actually actually play the same pieces😂
i did waltz in a minor too a few months ago and are working on this now
its been 1 month, any progress?
me too, jan start learning a minor, then a few sonatina, burgmuller, a 28 op 4 prelude and just last night starting to learn this waltz
So??
@@user-ry6ey8gq3t So??
Wonderful performance
Quel toucher délicat... j'aime particulièrement cet interprète.
I was curious whether you'd choose the original Chopin's version or the Fontana's "corrected" version.
Superb! Thanks! One of my first studies of chopin when i was jung. I have tears on my eyes 🤧
😍😍 Es... bellísima!!
Beautiful, thank you.😊❤
Chopis is my professor forever...thanks Paul for to play his songs
Thank you, it's very smooth and beautifully played ... thanks again
Great !!! Thanks for Sheri .
This is among the best interpretations in my opinion.

Did you played this brother?
@@filliiiii7 hi so yes I can play it, but it's not me in the video :\
So nice! Myself I added the pedal, it makes it much better but GREAT PERFORMANCE :)
So niceeeee I love ityy
Very well played! I did this work on my channel ! :)
chopin wrote some beautiful music that I play quite often
Don't know how can people dislike it...
Precioso ❤
Came back to this
beautiful
I LOVE IT
I am learning this piece too! Steven Si
Amazing 🎶🎹🙏👍
I’ve been playing piano for only two years, but I’ve learned extremely quickly and I’m currently finishing learning Bach’s 13th invention, which is a level 5 according to nyssma standards. Does anybody think that I can learn this song without having too many issues? I’ve been wanting to learn a song or two on the side, and this one is so nice! I would really appreciate any feedback!
Also great job!!
king Larry it depends, what pieces do you play now?
BY INES i just finished the invention, and before that I learned rondo alla turca and solfegietto
BY INES Also where does the real difficulty in this piece come from? It could just be me underestimating it, but the piece does not seem that difficult when I eyeball the sheet music or when I see ppl playing it
king Larry i was learning solfegietto two and now i’m learning this waltz but actually ive been doing piano for a long time and this piece needs practice. Yes it seems easy at first but i saw the real difficulty in it and i think you should practice more and learn other pieces before this one. There is another waltz from chopin you can learn let me just get you the name😂
Waltz in B minor B150 op Posh
wonderful!!
My first Chopin
while we are on the subject on Chopin re recordings on the Feurich I'd like to request a re record of Trois nouvelle etudes no 1!
Perfect
Great playing,But the left hand is a bit too loud. But perfect playing

omg its so goodddd
