I'm from El Salvador (Central America) and visited there not too long ago (I live in USA). I had electrical problems with my Suzuki Samurai 4x4. I went to a car shop and this 10-year-old boy comes and asks me what's wrong. I told him that when I engage the turn signals the brake lights and my stereo also blink in sync, told him to get someone to fix it. The little boy quickly went inside my car, sat in the driver's seat and started to disassemble my steering wheel column. He then did some cleaning with a flat screwdriver and then a dust blower. He also did some diddling in the fuse box. He fixed the problem in under 15 mins. I was left dumbfounded. I also watched him take out thermostats and radiators out of vehicles to fix overheating. I asked him a few questions. He said he has been there since the age of 7 and that he doesn't get paid. His "wage" is that he is learning "for free" the shop owner told him. I gave him $10 U.S. dollars in tip, the boy said he would use that money to buy his Mom a pair of sandals.
