I don't understand why these people want Dan Brown, a fiction writer to be a researcher or historian, he's never said its a true story, just that it's a story
fiction based on true facts, much like a lot of things in the world. a lot of people just see jesus was an enlightened man who spread a message of love and compassion, over the years the rest has been added to the story to make it more appealing, to help sell the concept. personally, i'm open minded - live in the now and love one another, if i die and god is there to greet me i will certainly believe he exists then! blessings to u all! :-)

Surprising because we 'hadn't known' it, sure, but undermining the church's power on earth? How?
