I had a rope fish name ryoko. And interestingly enough she was never shy. I’d some put my hand in the tank open palm, and she’d swim up and rest in my hand

Wow, so cute. Probably she was waiting for food or she just wanted to interact with you since they are fish that usually try to spend their time even with other species

Yep-yep, I do indeed think that rainbows may need to be re-categorized as semi-aggressive.
I've seen mine harrass my congo tetras and loaches when they intend to spawn, which they have never been successful at unfortunately...
