Great video, love how people misread hp, who, and readings on dyno. First take your stock run, doesn't matter the number, then after tuning take that number and subtract your stock number, all dynos will read different, but this increase number will be the same!

Hell yeah, sounds so good! currently trying to install my turbonetics kit, just need to source a turbo/bov/wastegate! any idea of which route i should go for around 8psi of boost?
The real turbonetics kit fits way good and makes grate power. The other similar kits have fitment issues .....but still make good power. The kit I built for raven was just a eBay 60-1 turbo on my custom kit worked grate. Just get a friend that welds and that’s all you’ll need 😂

Dude it’s stock fuel system. With 600cc injectors and a uprev gt maf. If he goes to the 9psi pulley I’ll have him upgrade the pump. But he still won’t need a return till about 400+

VQ Jus if you going for more power later then yes, or if your tuner knows what there doing it’s ok. But if not leave it alone it will change a lot of the tune characteristics.

This was the old kit the 7040 blower the new gt8555 hks kit can pump out 500 crank so thats some where in the 420 wheelish wich is a massive gain over the old chargers 👌🏻😎
I want to see this supercharger on the S2000 unit as both units are Great but the HP is lower on the S2k as the blower is smaller the 350z version is larger? Do you think you could fab up this blower with the S2000 kit?
The S2000 HKS kit is great but the blower is on the small size. The 350z blower you just did is larger in size and should make more boost on the S2000 but do you think if you swapped out the blower you could rev it to 9k for an AP1 the current hKS s2000 blower is only set to rev to 8400 rpm with the larger 350 blower do you think it would work better?
Well Funny cause I just had the same conversation with my friends at Ballade motorsports in California. Basically it’s really hard to compete with the Kraftwerks kit because it’s easier to work on and produces more horsepower than the HKS. But I did Dino tune a HKS S2000 recently and on about the same amount of boost I made 306 hp. Hope that helps.
@@GearheadsAutofab The Facebook group of the KW on the S2000 has so many issues belt slip, bolts snapping. I thought it was a great kit till i saw all the issues. The SOS kit is by far the least issues; but the HKS is high quality but need a different blowoff I just wish it offered more power. It's due to the small blower and small piping it's made for reliability

Random question but is the HKS Supercharger one where you need to tap into the motor for oil or is it standalone? I'd heard there were some things that needed to be fabricated with this kit but haven't been able to find anything concrete about it.
It uses a rotrax style super charger and I’m thinking they have there own oiling system. I can’t think of anything that needed fabrication.

Any advice on how to scale an uprev gt maf for a custom 3 inch intake pipe? Wanna scale the maf before adding the injectors. Thanks.
Yes the gt maf calibration is already done for you on the up rev menu. And you then need to just do the calculation for the volume increase on the pipe . Then adjust the k fuel multiplier to compensate. I’m not the best teacher lol but Jeff Evans tuning school is dope he is a amazing teacher! And a good friend lol. Hope that helps

That's unfortunate... I was thinking about getting into a Z or G35, but didn't wanna pay HR prices again. This made less than my bolt on 07 made...
The stock 2003-2005 350z/G35/V35 only make 260 bhp where the stock HR already makes 306bhp so it's not really surprising that your bolt on made more power. If you put a supercharger kit onto a HR then you're talking.

Reason I love Infiniti compared to other luxury performance car/manufactures was because it was a luxury car but it had a wide variety of aftermarket parts especially power wise that opened up the possibilities of how much more power you wanted to add to your car...being the owner of a 2006 M45 sport and also a 2015 Q50. For the life of me I can't find a turbocharger/but mainly a supercharger to save my life.the aftermarket scene doesn't support the M45 vk45de engine setup. Plz if anyone knows ANY manufacturer that offers a turbocharger or hopefully a supercharger setup for the M45 engine please let me know.if Infiniti keeps on leaning more and more to the luxury side with the release of newer models of the aspect and doesn't offer vehicles to that are more friendly to aftermarket tuning I can see my love for the company definitely fading. I love my M45 but it's killing me not being able to.find parts to rebuild the motor with forged internals, upgraded camshaft and a turbo or supercharger setup.
All a matter of your budget man. A machine shop could see what size pistons and rods you would need and going the tuning route you would already most likely be running a standalone ecu
this is probably way late, but not 100% sure, but doesn't Harrop USA use a V8 supercharger (tvs2300-supercharger)? Unsure if its for a Armada/Titan/Pathfinder. Worth a look.

Will this supercharge work on a 2005 Infiniti M35? Uses the same engine. VQ35DE.
It should. Routing and intercooler placement/mounting may be slightly different. But you will have more room to work with since the M chassis was built to hold a V8 as well.
@@jaykhan3191 yea there is a definitely a lot of room in the bay. It’s just that there are very very few M35s that have gone through this; so there’s almost no community to fall back on and take support on in case something goes wrong. The very few ones that are in existence are mainly pro builds for show or drift.
Also the amount of HP gained for the trouble that will be ensued isn’t worth it now I feel.

Man I’m not sure I don’t think the ocher would know either, he bought it used, all we know is it’s super old and most likely the first kit setup hks did, only made 6 psi . Hope that helps

I bet it would. As long as it’s a Rwd DE it should fit on the motor, but check with hks to make sure.

I think there actually probably close, But the super charger makes about 50 more hp even at 6 psi, but my rev 9 turbo kit made 20 more than the supercharger on 5 psi on a stock de. Turbo is a little harder install and more maintenance.

Why were the number so low?
Hks kit on a DE motor makes low #’s. Vortech kits make a bit more.
I thought it was good, if you consider he only makes 210 stock on my dyno. And 307@6psi. That’s a 16hp per pound of boost increase. Also just FYI my dyno reads about 6-10% lower than a dynojet. I like to just focus on the improvement.

Well this car makes about 210 stock on the dyno. and the super charger makes about 6-8 psi so 300hp is about right because the super charger makes about 10-12hp per pound of boost. They do make a higher boost pulley that can go to higher Hp.
