hoping one day we can watch you on eat bulaga program just like other foreign tourist that fell in love in the philippines that been invited by eat bulaga 🎉🎉
what you all don't know and what the video doesn't tell you is that you can stay in station 3 on the same paradise beach and have it very calm with only a handful people and when you want more people ion the evening just walk from there to station 2 in 15 min. Make sure to book your hotel in station 3 that's the whole trick
If you're in i.t. park i definitely suggest the verified rooftop bar. Good drinks, amazing creme Brule and shisha/ hookah if you like that. Once you're comfortable or have friends try the AGWA it's a much more affordable (mid tier for locals) they blast music and everyone is dancing and singing along. Definitely a place if you're looking for locals in the 20/30 year range

It was an unspoiled paradise before . Even locals did not know what or where Boracay was. Only tourists were mostly from Europe, usually the backpacker type. Actually learned about it from a German tourist in Puerto Galera.
I discovered this gem when there was just generators running the hotels and an airport with dirt runway that was a distance away . Not interested to mess up my memories of this island.
There's A LOT of tourist in Boracay specially during peak season. If drinking and beach party is your vibe then you'll enjoy Boracay, but I prefer a much serene and quieter beach spot.
Right on time Friend I am arriving next week I normally stay in the quieter beach areas but I wanted to check out Boracay for myself... Looks beautiful... I will try and stay away from the crowds.. Great work as always. Steve (Thailand)
Hey my friend, have been watching you for a couple of years, just subscribed. I live on boracay. There are 11 beach here, the beach you are on is white beach. That's the tourist beach and of course is crowded. There are several beaches that are white sand beautiful water and no crowds. We used to live, like you, in bohol. And have found Boracay to be similarly price on average. Boracay also has far better and far fresher food available compared to bohol. We moved here about 14 months ago, and we absolutely love it.
It's nice to watch your videos again. I've been busy with work lately so I haven't been able to watch your videos. Now I'm watching your previous uploads.
Absolutely amazing view ! Dang Expensive and crowded place though! Also love how confident ate singing lol ..I need a good massage too😆 Amazing Video Jo!
I've been to Boracay twice. It's amazing, I love it there. We stayed in station 3. Definitely the best place to stay. Quiet area, compared to the overcrowded station 2.
After watching your Vlogs for more than a year, I still enjoy your interactions with the locals. So, it is time to subscribe! Done! Boracay has its charm, well worth visiting! My wife is from Iloilo! Love your vlogs, keep up the good work.
You're making me smile Big. There are so many faces to Boracay. The quiet side is on the other side of the island. It's more windy so they do wind/sea sports but far less tourists.
Loved Boracay. Wasn't expensive but I went before hyperinflation hit right after the pandemic. Was a lot of people but nothing crazy. Absolutely gorgeous and the people are super nice.
Thank you for and other great video, that gives me even more the taste of going to the Philippines. And I’m like you I prefer less crowds places but wow the beaches and the water ❤
Hello. New subscriber for a month here. There are a lot of bloggers, yet I enjoy watching your travel escapes videos more as you are a gentlemanly person in your dealings with people you meet on the road. You can opt to stay at Station 1 when in Boracay for the excellent & less crowded beach, and the Shangri-la Boracay. Go island hopping as well. Enjoy.
Hey Johnathan, Gary H. here from New Mexico. I'm really happy that you are experiencing my (our) favorite place in the world. I met my Filipina wife 23 years ago and we went straight to Boracay. $8 per night, station 3. We've been back 6 times, Oct '23 being our last visit. I have a favor to ask and fun for you. I got my tattoo sleave at Normer's. He is at station 2 on the beach close to the D Mall entrance. He's upstairs but you'll see his sign. Tell him, Gary sent you. Good local artist. Consider getting one, lol. Keep up the good work, I enjoy your stuff. We hope to be there in January. Each trip we stay longer and longer. Bye!
There are other beaches in Boracay. The one where Stations 1-3 is called the White Beach (the most crowded), on the opposite side is the Bulabog Beach. Then there's Puka Beach, Diniwid, beach, etc. If you'll notice the sand on the white beach, aside from its powdery white sand, is that it doesn't get hot even at 12 noon.. Hope you enjoy your stay.
I can relate, I am a local and Boracay is the last destination in my mind coz I love more peaceful and not crowded place. Went there last Thursday and I am completely wrong. I love the beach so much and even the night walk is fun. We ate good food. And I just sitting on the beach watching the sunset. We decided to go back in February and bring my parents to relax.😊
In Boracay you can get any kind of food you want. I recommend a Korean restaurant. One the highway grab one of the green electric trikes and go towards station one. It'll be on the right hand side (away from the beach) Best food.
If you prefer a quieter and less crowded experience, consider visiting Station 1 or Station 0. These areas are more peaceful compared to the bustling Station 2
Check out Romblon or Buruanga-both are peaceful alternatives to Boracay and are located nearby, offering the same stunning vibe. You’ll find plenty of accommodations, so no need to stress about food or places to stay
A secluded beach with fewer tourists? Then you should tour Antique if you haven't yet. Pandan, Tibiao, Batbatan, and Culasi have highly underrated beaches with beautiful water. And if you ever get tired of the sea, you can hop over to the nearby mountains to experience their cold springs, streams, and waterfalls. 🙂
She can sing!!! Filipinos have that talent!! I hope she gets some singing gigs as she can hold a tune without any music to guide her. She sounded American when she sang too!! Like the singer.
Very cool how your "I don't know how to type that" turned into a nice interaction with the locals on the island. Boracay for me is also a love-annoyance locale. I worked here until 2009, left, and have now returned. I am heading back tomorrow with some family who are visting. I know it isn't even close to the best diving in the Philippines, but I enjoy how calm it is. My son is getting into diving, so this shoild be a nice trip. One of the best aspects of Boracay is swimmimg the water there. It is the best open water swimming if you can avoid the boats. Hopefully they are not as crazy as they used to be.
We go there a few times a year... only at sunset is it crowded and why not? Otherwise it's paradise and unbelievable cheap if you know where to dine. Just avoid beach side and D Mall .... love 7 am walking to angol point.
I'll bet the water is rather warm. It's so nice to be in the water in warm places like the Philippines and Thailand as opposed to the water in California.
My fiance and I have built a house in mindoro and I'll be moving there late January. Might pop over to boracay just for a night or something for a quick look around but as nice as it looks I wouldn't want to be surrounded by tons of tourists for very long.
@@boyzvird That may be true, but so is my statement, but your response indicates that it is not. Filipinos severely discriminate against other Filipinos with darker skin. Just look at the ones with the best jobs or the most public positions as opposed to lower end jobs.

It is crowded but you can still walk on the beach for miles and miles. Me and my husband keep coming back there - and to the other islands. Enjoy your travels!

It is not overrated. It is over commercialized. True, during peak days, it can become very overcrowded. But it offers so many choices to tourists with different budget levels. People can have options for cheap, affordable and expensive overall experience in the island.

I was there about 6 years ago,and there was a coffee place named real coffee that served real brewed coffee owned by an American lady, and her daughter. The coffee was excellent. We also went to the other side of the island snorkeling, and that was a good time.

Altiora peto as they say in Latin!
I hope you eat at Sunny Side Cafe in station 1, great breakfast. We spent a week in Boracay and I agree after about 2 days we had enough of the bar after bar at night just seemed like too much.
I live in the Philippines for 6 months a year. You should go to San Vicente Palawan and film Long beach. Its the second longest beach in East Asia. 14.6 kilometres long of beautiful white sand
