  • My favourite foil n board combo at the moment is the Appletree 4'5.5 skipper paired with the F-One SK8 750. Super responsive for control on take off, and feels amazing through turns.
Negatives: a low volume board is hard work paddling about, and the small surface area of the foil is brutal for low end speed drop outs. Also trickier getting on foil in small surf... but worth it for the feelings through turns. Martin Connolly

Very cool! 750 is a small front wing! Can I ask, how much you weigh?

I weigh 78/80KG, 750 does feel small when pumping through chop but it’s so fun for turns 😀

Wave doesnt look big and still you have a lot of lift with the 750, it’s crazy make me wonder if the lift is better on the sk8 compared to 7seas.

It has surprised me too, never thought 750 area would be my daily foil. I haven't tried the 7seas to compare

    Hows the pump?

Generally it’s hard work to pump, but if I exit a wave with lots of speed it’s good but unforgiving if I make a mistake 😀 low end drops outs are brutal
