Season 8 wasn’t their favorite but this is totally different. This is a new studio with kids and moms who know each other. Season 8 was kids from all over the country.
Season 9 or new era should’ve been kalani and her studio, would’ve been so much better to keep that legacy going. Or have Abby pass down Aldc to make it kdc so we actually had some connections to the show

There are no new ideas in TV/Film land? Just rehashing the same old shows with different faces. Dance Moms was original that was its draw it was an unknown quantity. This will get a few curious viewers but if it tries to replicate the original I don't fancy its chances of longevity.
I remember her daughter, her daughter and her friend she had us a black daughter, not trying to be racist but her friend daughter or no yeah they were on the show and then Abby didn’t like them and yeah, and then they went behind her bag because her her daughterwanted to do a solo and didn’t give her her solo so she was rehearsing solo and the black girls mom was like OK I’m gonna enter you as a soul and your solo so yeah and then Abby just kicked them out after that
This sucks your basicaly tacking away a BIG show from a lot of kids, and your giving it up, I hope that this show doesn’t happen and stays Bc I have a feeling that it’s going to flop, and people will not like it
