@@luiscastillo6312 why not exactly? it has everything to be the anthem of power metal. there are other songs have the same qualities (fast, catchy, positive, fantasy themed, encourageing etc) as well, but Emerald Sword is just as good as any of them.

@@luiscastillo6312 I think it's a matter taste .) personally I agree that ES is one of the best options for a power metal anthem. the only thing it lacks is exposure. for example Metal is for everyone by Freedom Call is a worse song, less polished, less catchy, lyrics are strange at some places, but it's still good and has a better exposure I think

Pretty great picks of some of the best songs ever. Emerald Sword was the song that got me into Rhapsody and is my favorite together Dawn of Victory Never heard of Crystallion before and would perhaps not put them this high. Nightwish, Alestorm, Galneryus, Angra, Kamelot. Will soon put a Top30 list of the most successful power metal bands until today. There were some interesting picks I did not expect 😎

You can freely add Helloween 's songs as first 5...I don't say,tastes are different, but some of such power metal bands are more as a joke,like one Dragon Force,even of their fast shredding on guitars wouldn't help them to sound a better,they are so boring and their solos are pointless...
