Do you think that the late Len Carlson had the potential to be a voice double for Latta, given how at least one of his roles sounded similar to the iconic villain voice by Latta?
This is a quote from an article called "Transformed: the Chris Latta Story" : "To give you an idea of what kind of nice soul Latta was, I asked Mrs. Susan Blu for some personal stories. Even though she only worked on the 3rd and final season of The Transformers, she was often around, always doing voice over work, and meet many of the Trasnformer regulars every day. She told me of one particular year in which the voice acting community was suffering the same fate as a local LA actors strike, and how many people chouldn't work for three months. Unfortunately, this happened around earily October, and lasted untill the end of December. Veteran voice performer Michael Bell (The Transformers, Volron: Defender of the Universe) remembers a time when he comforted him, even giving him money and telling him "You need it more then I do". And no doubt, one of his biggest controbutions was going to the home of his troubled friend Peter Cullen, dressed as Santa Clause and handing out presants to his children. So when Cullen awoke the next morning, he saw Latta knowingly smiling at him as he handed out gifts, leaving a almost crying and bemused Cullen smiling at his caring friend in his bathrobe."
