An improvement to digitakt would be about the sample selection. Instead of an aggregated sample list, I would like to have sample list per individual tracks. This would make it feel more like a drum machine. I also would not have to scroll through irrelevant sounds and a long list.

The tactile nature and quick access to parameters has always attracted me to the DT but can I justify the cost?
The buttons really add to the overall feel of the instrument, but that's not my primary concern. What alternative options do I have for a similar less menu divey sequencer with as much or similar parameters to each sound?
I have an MPC but it's super 'extra' on the steps to get to the point youd get on a DT in 5 mins.
