"No disrespect to lower-limit players, this just seems really really easy in comparison to playing some of the tougher players..." And then he goes on to name some of today's best online players in the world.
me 2 , cuz i know I'm up for a long match. I mostly win them but sometimes they get under my skin and I start to steam a bit and I try to make the match go quicker, that's mostly in my disadvantage.
I feel like needlessly weak players can sometimes be more of a pain in the ass to play. They are more predictable usually when they have a big hand but they will aggressively push when they have nothing just to either steal blinds or hope to get lucky. Trying to read whether a scrub has a hand or dug themselves a deep hole with a post flop bluff and is now trying to push hard to get you out and save face is tough to do with 15 seconds on the clock.
+Randy “Macho Man” Savage I struggle with this too - as I like to play aggressively post-flop to push weaker passive players off pots in the micro limits (which works very well), but you often come up against one or two extremely sticky players who almost never fold to post-flop aggression, and often raise in bizarre spots which make them impossible to read. I'm slowly managing to force myself to play tighter against these players, and make sure I only commit to a pot when I know I have the best hand. It's hard to discipline yourself, but these players are so exploitable if you make the right decisions.
Jamie Stevenson I'm usually a very tight player and I build a stack by nickle and diming when I have a hand and I slowly build a stack assuming I don't hit anything big, but I have encountered some bizarre plays that have actually paid off. There is nothing more annoying than check raising into someone when you know you have the better hand only to have them to hit a runner because they were in with a vastly inferior hand and it paid off. Fish that play too loose can actually make you fear cards that aren't even on the board because you know there is a chance they will hit something ridiculous.
Randy Savage Yeah I know. Yesterday I got 3bet by the BB when I was on the button with pocket 10s, I call, flop comes 6,2,10 rainbow. He bets pot, I shove (putting him on an overpair) and he calls with 10 7 offsuit. I'm 97% on the flop, and of course the next two cards are an 8 and a 9. Couldn't believe what I'd seen. Sometimes you just have to laugh.
+Randy “Macho Man” Savage yes. Sometimes i sign up to cheap tournaments but realize it was too cheap and super boring to play when i see people who arent short stacked go all in with Q6 preflop and the other guy has K9 and calls. It just takes most of the fun away.
This video is hard to represent as genuine - just the fact that it's him changes his opponent's play. To make it more accurate, he should play anonymously.
What you said could be true for me or you to say, but everyone knows who Negreanu is if they are playing poker online. How many knowledgeable players would you believe classify Daniel as a weak player? He is trying to gauge a unknown player based on a small sample size of data available to him at the time, plus a experienced player like him does not make 1 judgment and forever it stands, poker is a fluidic game and he continuously is making adjustments and re-evaluating the situation as new information becomes available and relevant.
Actually its good practice for your live events imo,, sitting there against these players is mind numbing but does help you stay focused. Flat calling with the nuts on the river is pretty pethetic though.. but they are weak low level players.
Charles Mills exactly! If I enter a six player sit-n-go, I play patiently, tight-aggressive and nearly always get to the final two. And i nearly always lose the heads-up. My heads up play is just awful.
You know what I got out of that? Not much... Daniel I like you bud, but all you really proved there is aggressiveness beats passiveness, which is no big secret. The fact that I don't see the full vid makes me wonder if things went downhill for you...
Yeah gotta put in a decent value bet with a boat, if Daniel had 9s full he would have probably put in a bigger bet. Kind of reminds me of a hand at the casino where I had AK with two aces on the board and I just called but I thought he had the full house. It was a big pot but I had so many more chips I could afford to take a hit if I put him all in and lost, the guy was being a complete prick all day as well glad he didn't win much.
¿Wanna know when a player its such a noob at hu game? when the limp every fuckin buttom and raise when the have something, and sometimes they limp premiums has AA KK QQ to trap you be cause they want you to raise, cause u made it the 60% porcent of the time when they are limpin so bumhunting fishes give u a lot money, but when they are hiting everything could stole you a lot.
Watching top pros 10 years ago is cringe relative to today. A regular online on any stake say above 10NL would crush them - theory has moved on so much, and credit to the top pros or most of them, they kept up and stayed at or near the top. However watching it and how little thought there is... cringe. For example Daniel get K high on the 99722 board. 2 hands after his opponent folded to a min bet in a pot that checked down on a AAK1010 board. If he folded a min bet on a board he should call or raise all day. Why would he call Q high in the other one. So yes daniel is right that K high is best there a lot, but it was automatic back then to think -- an I bluffing or value betting, and how much their range would call the value bet.
@@TonyEnglandUK back then yes... obviously daniel has made efforts to improve and keep up with theory since those videos back then... I’m talking about a profitable 10NL grinder today would wreck top pros back then

You can't find that bad enemies at that level anymore..
Daniel is great...his opponent is really bad however
Daniel's funny. Said the guy looks weak for limping on the button, but he started the game by limping on the button.

Daniel ur a LEGEND !!!!!!!!!!
i'd be pissed if my last $10 was lost because i was paired up with daniel.
i learned nothing from this
Sure, i'm assuming you're better than him..
BALLIN32 had the best day of her life
raising every hand will eventually get someone that's decent to call u down
So did she end up winning when Daniel cut off the video before the tournament ended?
The video is in multiple parts...
+TheKeisari she lost after having 3/4 chips
that last hand i would of personally made a bet as she checked twice and doesnt seem a bluffer
I think he's limping because he's scared of Daniel.
intimidation factor i guess. she seemed pretty star-struck!
nothing happenedf the whole video, why is this online??
im trying to watch the game but the chats so damn funny
part 2 is missing
i just wouldn't have the patience to play this disciplined for only $10. at their rate, it seems like this match could go on for a looong time
+whitedevil2 especially when your opponent is flat-calling with a full house

Is this really daniel?I don't see the red "pokerstars" logo before his name?
daniel neganerau is the boss my favorite poker player of all time.
I love how there is a poker VT symbol on a pokerstars table hahahe

Danielle $10 sit n go 1
2:32 lolololl
How come a $10 bet buys you 1.5k? Fake currency?
Not a cash game, so chips are not the same as the buy in
Sundqvist I see. Cheers.
Marcello Capone it's because it's a tournament actually, the buy in is 10$
At the end it was still quite equal so...
old video of 2009 . the game is diffrent now.
Can the people in the chat really be over 18?
lol I tried scrolling up on the poker chat
it's funny because I was a chatter
why do all poker players have an ego that is just off the charts
lets just take it why not.. woohooo never doing that again HA-AH_AH XD
