  • In this video I test every single Leica R I own (except for the 60mm) on the new Blackmagic Cinema Camera 6K (BMCC6K). Really excited to see my Leica R on a full frame sensor and they truly look amazing. You can see some heavy vignetting on the 19mm, but it’s simply caused by the step down ring. Once you take it off the image is perfect. There is also some vignetting on the 28mm (cause by the ND and not nearly as bad). I'm gonna get a 82mm ND and a step down ring and that should fix the issue. I'll keep you posted!

    Man! This is a clear tutorial on the camera's new sensor and the effects of lens focal lengths, crops etc. .. very useful, since some of us have never used full frame sensors before. I appreciate this work and all of the full frame footage to date.. Most of BMD pocket footage created by you (with your wife as the subject), has assisted greatly in my decisions to purchase 4 pocket cameras, from the original to the pro over the last few years. I appreciate all of this work.

    • @matteobertoli

      The first two lenses had no nd. In that situation I couldn’t see any pollution. Having an OLPF should completely fix ir issue

      @@matteobertoli dang it! I believe you but the reason I'm hopeful is due to a test I watched, where the coverage of those lenses was on an 8K full frame red camera. There was slight vignetting that was easily corrected with a minor pushed in crop. I'm just gonna remain hopeful for now and wait for more of your video presentation 😄🎬
      cheers Matteo🍻

    • @matteobertoli
      @matteobertoli  Год назад +2

      Not at all. I am shooting all day here in Andalusia and I have 11 NPF, but I only use 3/4 per day max

    • @ryansulak
      @ryansulak Год назад

      @@matteobertoli wow i would have figured this camera needs more than 4 npf per day. Are you turning it off / on a lot to conserve battery? Also, between this and the FX3, which would you prefer for a travel camera, thanks! Beautiful shots, make me want to sell my bmpcc4k!

    • @matteobertoli
      @matteobertoli  Год назад +1

      @@ryansulaki mean yeah i shoot a bunch of clips, turn it off and turn it on again. If you need to shoot constantly all day you probably need 8/10 batteries. But it’s not a big issue. They are small and fit in my backpack. I rather have a bigger and bulkier camera that delivers Arri quality footage. I brought my zve1 to sicily and i got some cool stuff, but the image quality doesn’t come even close to Blackmagic. Just my opinion

    Hey, firstly thanks yo you and i really appreciate for your hardwork on doing these set of videos and showing what black magic camera can do at different set of conditions. It is also awesome to see what a black magic camera can do at this price point of range. I dont have any kind of exposure of any kind of filming or production on youtube, as im excited and pich zoomed into the video i could zoon like 3-5 times and i guess and see the the detailes are not so sharp as we generally see in films on tv. What could be the reason. Im just curious. Pls dont mind if my query is vague. Peace ✌️
