You forgot the option to change the colour of the focusing spot from grey to red or white. A little thing that makes a big difference for me. I would like to meet the person who thought grey was a good idea.

I shot a wedding for a friend's niece last week with my A7III and this week I'm shopping for a new camera. The autofocus on the 7III isn't fast enough for a spaz like me. I was using LOCK on AF and eye tracking and still the dang camera was trying to find people and things behind my subject. Huh? I guess I have high standards for what percent of photos I expect in focus. I mostly shoot portraits in more controlled environments, so jumping to a wedding environment ups the game a bit. I suppose with experience comes a calmer photographer and better skills, but still, better tech helps.

What are the differences between the a7iv and the a7R iv aside from pixel count? Another question of mine is… the A9 ii can shoot 20 frames-ps but not raw? It’s limited to 10 just like the iv?
I’m so stuck idk if I should get a 50mm 1.2 G master or upgrade to the A4?
wait... we shoot dances at at a higher f-stop?
Maybe it's time for a video about wedding dance in general and how you make those amazing close up shots with that 24mm.

The color science was enough for me to upgrade.
Interesting. A7IV does have improved color science, but when shooting raw the difference was not that big for me. How would you describe the difference?
@@MagicWeddingPhotographer I'm an hobbyist so I don't edit many photos. Plus, I like the extra mp and switch from photo to video.
I didn't have the A7iii, but downloaded all the RAW files I could find and borrow. I was never able to easily get good colors from them. What worked for one picture, didn't translate to the next one. With the A7iv I was able to adapt my presets after a couple of hours and works great.
@magic I don’t like to use my 7iii when I shoot brown skin tones like mine, the a 7iv fixed that. I don’t see a lot of difference against canon now.
If their was color science improvement then the a7iii sucked ass. Cause I just got the a7iv "upgrading" from the Nikon Z6 and the pictures I'm getting straight out the camera with the a7iv look dull to me. Maybe Nikon spoiled me with it's colors but damn I'm kinda disappointed.
Great video. Any ideas what the shutter is rated to count wise? I know the A7iii is lower than the others 🤨🤓

The question I have, I have the a6600, would upgrading to the a7III be not much of an upgrade compared to the IV? a6600 has active track and the a7III doesn't and I would miss it haha. I mainly want to upgrade for a second card slot. I've had the a6600 since launch and I do love it, just wondering your thoughts.
Oh yeah, that’s a tough call. Everything except that real time tracking af will be way better in a7iii. Especially the image look itself. FF is FF. I would upgrade :)

I just shot a wedding with these two cameras. The shutter on the A7iv is very quite compared to the a7iii. That’s a big one! Another feature is the shutter closes when you turn off the camera.you have to activate that option though. I love that because my 7iii is a dust magnet.
In my experience the A7iv drains the battery quicker out of the box.
I really miss the tilt screen on my 7iv, specially in the dance party when you’re in the middle of the crowd shooting from above.
Does the a7m4 have auto iso min. SS available in 1/3 stops instead of 1/1 stops settings like a7m3?
For example in a7m3 you can only use 1/125 or 1/250 and nothing in between- has it changed in new model?
Same here 1/125-1/250-1/500 :/ I also wish itd go like 1/320

Do you notice a big difference in the battery life?
I actually did not. Not to the point that it would disturb me in any way. I shoot full 12 hour wedding day on 4 batteries, like I always did with my previous cameras.
A7iv drains the batteries Mucha faster, both for video and for stills. I have both cameras and use them at weddings.
Not enough reasons for an extra 1K dollars.
