  • Today we take the Onewheel Pint back to the curb we failed to nudge last time. This time with determination to make sure no matter what we climb that curb. See the progression on the next day as we finally tackle our first successful curb nudge!

YOO congrats on the progress!! Thanks for the shoutout in both your nudge videos! Amazing to see all the commitment you have in learning such a fundamental skill! A few tips to perfect it even more: 1) in the failed attempts, it looks like you're shoving a bit too late, but the timing looks perfect on the successful ones (you can tell in the slow-mo successful attempts that there's a bit of a gap between the tire and the curb when you nudge), and 2) try seesawing the nose up before you even climb up. I know it feels and sounds weird to do it, but even on the successful nudges, your nose is a bit closer to the ground when you climb up. After the shove into the curb, just snap the nose up, don't wait for the board to climb up first. Again, glad to see all the improvement, and the last step is to just hit these nudges as often as possible to get them super consistent! Would love to see a third video on perfect nudges ;) Float on! ✌️

HELL YEA!! Congrats!! You can even see you changed before I commented on last vid lol. Right after that press on the curb you went up instead of forward. You needed nobody, had it all along lol. 👏👏👏

I needed to see this. I've tried curb nudges 2 separate times (8-10 each) and feel like I'm not even close. The pros make it look too easy. I'll pad up again tomorrow and try another session. Focusing on "forward" may help.

Sweet! Congrats. Its so satisfying when you make a successful nudge and I could just tell you were stoked haha. Now you're on your way to become a nudge master! Just gotta keep practicing and refining the movement. Try it on different shaped and height curbs. Each curb requires a slightly different movement. Cheers 🤙

I’m back on learning how to curb nudge, I’m going to take your advice on removing the fangs because I was having the same issue with the board shooting out from underneath me, I won’t lie it freaked me out when board shot out forward on me pulling my leg making me land on my butt. I didn’t think the fangs where the issue until you said it In this video. Thank you for the video and the tips.

Dude, Congrats!!! I have just started my journey in the float life and have the sore butt and shoulders to prove it. It is a way different skill set than long boarding. To see your tenacity on learning curb nudges is inspiring and energy you expressed on the first successful one gave me chills! I learned a lot, to see someone doing these things from a peer standpoint is encouraging, and inspirational…. Keep them coming John, and float on…… maybe that’s what you can call your channel….. Float On John!

Thanks man, I'm glad this was helpful to a peer! That was exactly the goal. There are so many tutorial videos, but what does it look like when some random guy tries it? I had no idea, so I shared my experience.
I don't intend to make my channel just about PEVs, but it's something I'm passionate about so I'm sharing since I enjoy making videos. As the drone racing season kicks up I plan to return to drone racing content in addition to PEV content. Thanks for watching!

Putting ourselves out there regardless of what others might think is commendable! I always think of the mantra, “Where your focus goes your energy flows!” This is a great example of that.

I hate so much when I fall off my board but when I look at it it’s up the curb😂😂 I’ve successfully climbed twice last night and it was the MOST satisfying thing when the board Carries your back foot up
